These are great little reading lights. I bought two of them to replace a couple that were in a used camper van I bought. The old ones were just on off, but these new ones have both a simple blue night light and a dimmable white light. You need to experiment a little to get the hang of the cool touch sensor that is between the lighted bands. Touch once and the blue light comes. Hold your touch and the light shuts off or touch quickly and it switches to white light. Then hold and you can activate the dimmer. Then touch and it shuts off. Very cool and very useful. It is very easy to install as well and the finish plate installs with an Allen screw (wrench included) and so it has a nice clean finish. Very nice, easy to install, works great, and well worth the price.

If it works for the next two years, I won't be too disappointed.

Great little 12v light for my garage sprinkler control and battery charging panel. Sturdy and attractive, quality material, easy to install.

Overall very impressed with this light. High quality and the company seems to make an effort to be earth friendly, the back of the instructions shows other uses for their packaging instead of throwing it away. Unfortunately mine didn't come in that tube packaging, just a regular box. The light itself is sturdy, well made, the flex shaft has the right amount of stiffness. The touch control is very responsive. I love the blue accent light, looks very modern. The light output itself is good enough for reading, which is our intended purpose, reading or night light. The dimming spectrum isn't very wide, so don't expect too much, again, mainly meant as a reading light. The 'bulb' does seem to put off some heat as well, haven't had it on very long to say how hot it actually gets over time. The price is definitely reasonable. I'd recommend it, very high end looking light, better than most lights that come standard in RVs.

Night all metal marine quality. This is going into my RV and I put it on my 12v tester to see it work. Its a "touch light" and when you touch the center aluminum ring between the blue lights it changes 3 modes, off, blue halo ring nightlight, and warm light. Blue light does not come out of the tip. I put a magnet on it, and I believe the head and base to be highly polished aluminum. The gooseneck is chrome plated steel as the magnet stuck well to it. Total length 6.25 inches. The control board has a memory effect as when I turn off my power supply and turn it back on, it stays in its last mode.
