Great modern MP3 player
This Device is great if you want to listen to music offline. There is a lost of settings and customization within this device that takes a while to get used to but works well. The option to expand the storage is a plus and easy to access within the device when importing music. Connecting to bluetooth is easy to do and the sound quality is convenient but it does not compare to listening to it with wire headphones, there has been latency and skipping if I'm using bluetooth while I'm walking so keep that in mind while exercising. The touch screen is not very responsive at time compared to your usual smartphone but the physical buttons make up for it. The device itself is well made and sturdy as well.Overall this is a great modern Mp3 player/DAP for the price the pros overweighs the cons in my opinion.

If you are looking for a modern iPod that plays music at Hi Res quality, look no further.
GREAT product!Downloaded 200GB+ FLAC files and at least 50GB of Spotify music to 1TB microSD over Wifi using SyncThing and Spotify, drained battery by 45%. This is incredible. Took a nap while it finished downloading a couple dozen GB of FLAC files on the charger, was cool to the touch and fully charged when i woke up several hours later.Spotify CANNOT be used while downloading files to microSD card, nearly unusable, even on a high speed card. The music i listen to all the time (using bluetooth, Spotify, Very High) is noticeably enhanced. I have not tested with wired headphones yet, but I assume the enhancement would be even higher.Connects and works well with both my vehicles bluetooth systems (Microsoft Sync and Generic GMC).Today it was 96 degrees F and downloading both Spotify and SyncThing/FLAC at the same time produced noticeable heat, but not much more than my phone while browsing facebook. The system is blinding fast and reacts to button presses immediately. The bit perfect system is very apparent. Very easy to use. I really can't find a reason to complain about this device. Besides maybe not having a GPS chip so I could use it entirely instead of connecting my phone when i need to get directions. But that is not the point of this device.I like the color better with the TPU case on and the warmth of the device when syncing so much data, at the same time, in nearly 100 degree weather would have been a bit much to comfortably hold the device for a sustained period of time.Storage capacity is adequate for testing the device, but you will want to use a microSD card formatted in exFAT format (mine came preformatted).I got the green one, and instead of the neon green, with the TPU case on, it is more of a forest green.I was between this and the M300, and the battery life is worth not having an onboard speaker.Body is aluminum and glass, very high quality and durable build quality.

Awesome - Let's you focus on music
I purchased this on a bit of whim as I thought it looked really cool but I wasn't prepared to fall in love with it. You would be forgiven to think, why would I need a device like this? I have my phone and it has access to all my music. The reason is very simple, this device was made for music from the ground up, full stop. It sounds really good, it handles absurdly large music libraries with ease from an SD card, it's very easy and intuative to use and it has physical buttons to skip around very quickly. Its running Android so if you know what you are doing you can load or customize it in anyway you want. But the best part is that it is NOT your phone. Your music listening experience is not going to be interrupted by notifications or phone calls or other such distractions and so the experience is very different from a phone. It allows you to focus on the music itself which is a breath of fresh air.

Sounds good, BUT
Sounds fine, nice little DAP for the price point, only thing im going to complain about is the glass. Ive had this for 5 days and the screen already has a decent sized scratch and a bunch of smaller ones from i don’t know what. I take good care of my devices i dont know where this came from. If you get one, it sounds amazing but you need to make sure you baby it.Also the included screen protector is cheap plastic, and theres no alignment bracket, due to the oblong screen its nearly impossible to install.2 stars for the sound, 3 stars removed for the subpar screen and screen protector.Edit 3/8/25Added 2 stars because this little device does really sound good and because customer support reached out and at least attempted to help. I bought a 6 pack of screen protectors and it works great. If you do get this, i have had no issues with battery life or heat as some people claim. It gets slightly warm when running my 80 ohm cans but nothing excessive. Its a good product, just get a screen protector because the screen genuinely is weak. You WILL not install the included screen protector on the first try. I would recommend Hiby either include more screen protectors or an alignment bracket.

Buyer beware. Short lifespan.
Would not recommend at all. I have had this for 7 months. Everything started out great. Very easy to use, adding music to it was not difficult, the music quality with a decent pair of IEMs was good. It was everything I could have hoped for in a DAP at this price point. The battery slowly started to have issues after a few months and now it won't charge. It acknowledges it is being "charged" but will not actually take a charge. I have tried the OEM cable and different USB-C cables, I have tried charging via a brick plugged into an outlet. I have tried charging using my PC. Nothing works. It was great while it lasted, but I will not be purchasing another Hiby product again.

Best option for the price.
Worth every penny and would recommend to friends. So many ways to listen. Aux, BT, Some sort of device share as well as usb input. The sound quality + the quality of file + a good headphones or what have you, gets you such an amazing listening experience. I recommend ripping discs on windows media player to extract them in the highest quality.Have Fun and Enjoy!
