Included extensions lack secure attachment and aren’t particularly useful. Requires a separate foam cleaner for thorough maintenance. The Details: This spray foam gun turned out to be a welcome addition to my toolkit. If you’ve ever struggled with the single-use plastic nozzles that come with PU foam cans, you’ll appreciate how this tool simplifies the job. From sealing gaps in windows to insulating a few small crevices in my garage, this foam gun has performed admirably, keeping the foam where it belongs—on the job site and not on my hands. The Teflon coating is a standout feature, making cleanup far easier than expected. After each use, I just wiped it down, and it was good to go. The mechanism for adjusting the foam flow works well for larger jobs, though I’d prefer a bit more finesse for smaller, detailed areas. The trigger does its job, but it can feel a little stiff, which might take some getting used to if you need precision. Now for the extras. The included extensions seemed like a thoughtful addition, but in practice, they were less than stellar. They’re friction-fit, which means they’re prone to popping off mid-use. I quickly ditched them and stuck with the base nozzle, which worked just fine for my needs. I have used the name brand gun (Great Stuff) and foam cans as well as multiple "clone" or aftermarket types of spray foam guns and different brands and types of "pro" spray foam cans. The GrizzlyGuard Spray Foam Dispensing Gun is very typical of the multiple brands of aftermarket dispensing guns available online, and all are at a much lower price point than the Great Stuff "name brand" dispensing gun from the local big box stores. The 2 main functionality differences are the inclusion of a shut-off valve where the can attaches to the gun, and the shape of the tip at the end of the gun. The Great Stuff gun does not have the shut-off valve and has a smooth tip end instead of the barbed style tip of the aftermarket guns. The barb style tip allows for attachment of various plastic extension tubes, nozzle tips, and fan spray tips. This GrizzlyGuard Spray Foam Dispensing Gun works fine as do all the similar "generic" guns I have used. As long as you clean it properly and promptly after each use, they all have done the job just fine. The nice thing about the "cheap" generic spray foam guns, is that when you forget to clean it promptly or something unexpected happens and you don't get back to finish that can left on the gun when expected - and the foam leaks or hardens in the gun - then you are only out the price of a $20 gun instead of $70 for the name brand gun. At the time of this review, the GrizzlyGuard Spray Foam Dispensing Gun is priced a bit over over other similar options, but still way under the name brand gun - so can't hurt to check prices when you need to order that next new spray foam gun.

My husband has been repairing and refurbishing a 1940’s red block shop building. The red clay blocks were used and stacked during the 1940’s - 1950’s in the same manner as cinder blocks are used today. Over the last 80 years, the structure of the building has been affected by trees, water runoff and even a few minor southwest earthquakes. The block has cracked along the stacking marks and separated. My husband has jacked/ leveled / supported the problem areas but there are still many gaps, some small and some larger. Anything large enough, we have added copper mesh to reinforce and as a preventative measure. Using a can of insulation foam worked in a few areas but didn’t get the foam deep enough into the cracks to prevent intruders and wind. This spray foam gun from GrizzlyGuard has made getting deep into the cracks between the 8” thick blocks easy. The building is now on its way to keeping mice out. It has also helped to keep the cold air out. The shop can now effectively be heated with a cast iron wood burning stove. The spray foam gun is easy to hold and the mechanism feels heavy duty. It helps pinpoint the foam where he needs it to go. After using this, it is super important to clean up. We also have the foam cleaner from the same brand. Without some sort of cleaner, the gun would likely only be useful for one session since spray foam sits up almost like concrete, for comparison, in a short amount of time.

I have wanted a spray foam gun for quite some time, and when this popped up on Vine I decided to pick it up. From a pricing perspective, this sprayer is on par with other I have seen online, but way cheaper than buying and equivalent product at HD or Lowes. (There is a Husky foam gun that is cheaper, but it is a piece of garbage). Overall it is a good product with a couple of quirks: Pros: The spray pattern can be adjusted easily Much easier to use than the disposable dispenser cans. Sprays more foam than the disposable-tip cans. Well built with a non-stick Teflon (PTFE) coating for easy cleaning. Good balance and a fairly comfortable grip for my larger hands. Cons: Not really a con, but you have to buy a separate cleaner and keep it on hand to fully maintain the sprayer. This is true of any of these types of foam sprayers. Others have complain about a stiff trigger, but mine seems to be fine. YMMV. The extra features, are not very special, and honestly I tried them and will never use them again. Overall a good product at a fair price.

I had a gap in my front door and I got tired of shoving plastic to keep air and bugs out of my home. I decided to foam insulate it and use this gun to do it. The gun gets the job done but it probably was overkill for my job. It is probably best when you need to walk down a long crack or run. However, it operated smoothly and without issue. I do need to research on where to get more nozzles though. Also, be mindful of which cans you buy to use with it. You'll need a compatible size to fit into the gun. Very easy to use and good value for your budget and hands! LOL!

We have been tackling some drafty windows and a few other little sealing projects around the house, and this foam sprayer is great! The foam comes out super consistent.. no weird globs or weak spots. I was worried about wasting a ton of foam, but this sprayer lets you control the flow perfectly. I was able to get right into those tight spots around my windows and doors, and it filled everything up nice and snug. If you're looking for a reliable and easy-to-use foam sprayer for those little insulation and sealing jobs, this is definitely the one. I'm honestly kind of excited to find more things to seal now! Would recommend!

Got this to seal around windows. It works ok. Comes with a push on extension hose and tips. When moving the gun along seal path I bumped the tip and it got loose and then come off in the foam. Once all of the tips and hose is gone I’ll probably throw it away and get one with a screw on extension to prevent this issue again. I do not recommend this product.
