A Hair Mask That Delivers!
I've been using the Dead Sea Collection Castor Oil Hair Mask for a few weeks now, and I'm really happy with the results. My hair was feeling dry and damaged from all the heat styling I've been doing, but this mask has really helped to restore its natural moisture and shine. The formula is rich and nourishing, with a blend of dead sea minerals and castor oil that really seems to penetrate deep into my hair. I've noticed a big difference in the way my hair looks and feels - it's smoother, softer, and more manageable than it was before. I also appreciate that this mask is suitable for all hair types. I have curly hair, and I've found that it can be really dry and prone to frizz. But this mask has helped to tame the frizz and add moisture to my curls, leaving them looking healthy and bouncy. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is that it can be a bit messy to apply. The mask is quite thick and gloopy, and it can be hard to get it to spread evenly through my hair. But overall, I think it's worth the extra effort. I've been using this mask once or twice a week, and I've noticed a big difference in the health and appearance of my hair.

Works Well on My Dry Curly Hair
I have extremely dry, naturally curly hair, but after the summer season is even worse than it was before. I needed some thing that would provide a lot of moisture, and decided to try this Coils & Curls avocado and aloe hair mask. The directions state to leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes then rinse. I did that the first time I used it and really did not see any kind of improvement. Now, I am leaving it on for a half an hour before rinsing it off, and so far, I like the way it leaves my hair feeling. It is a huge container, 16.9 fluid ounces so this should last me for quite a while. This company has other types too and for the very affordable price, I am planning to try more.

Instructions unclear
I was specifically looking for a pre-wash hair mask treatment. It does says that the hair has do be damp, but it doesn't say it has to be after shampooing. Today I received the mask and it says "after shampooing"

very happy with results
My hair has gotten dry and fly-away as the weather gets colder here, and it is not at all shiny. My hair definitely needed some deep conditioning. I washed my hair and applied the hair mask. It has a light coconut fragrance. The directions on the package say to leave on for 3 to 5 minutes, but the product description on Amazon says to leave on for 5 to 10 minutes so I left it on for 10. After rinsing my hair with warm water, it felt much softer. After my hair dried, it was much shinier and the frizz was smoothed down. I will be using this mask twice a week.

Drying
This conditioner did not work for me. This is the second product from the Dead Sea Collection that I've tried and sadly I must conclude that their line is not for my hair type. I have a whole lot of very fine, very long, wavy hair that is prone to frizz. Its the kind of hair that combing when dry breaks the wave and instantly turns it into a puffy cloud. I have had good luck with leave in coconut conditioners. I left the conditioner on for five minutes on wet freshly shampooed hair per the instructions before rinsing it off and that let my hair air dry. Initially it looked fine, even though it felt kind of dry which I'm guessing is due to the sea salt. There was no frizz and it had nice tight waves, although my hair seemed a bit flat. Sadly within a few hours, just sitting in an air conditioned room my hair began to frizz and the waves started breaking apart. I had to use some of my favorite leave in conditioner to try and tap down the frizz. I recently reviewed Curly Rhythm for Vine, a leave in coconut based conditioner and it has become my new favorite. On the plus side, you do get a huge tub of hair mask. This product is made in Israel.

Love this delicious smelling hair mask
I have hair that is 2a, 2b, and 2c. It's also thin and fine. I'm frustrated by products that promise conditioning body and deliver heavy greasy formulas that weigh my hair down. Ten minutes after styling, I look like a 3 year old who just woke up from a nap. I've used this 3 times now and I see a noticeable difference in the moisture content, manageability, and softness of my hair. It's not a panacea for losing the genetic hair lottery, but it has improved the condition of my hair and improved how I feel about my hair and to me that's a huge win. This mask smells amazing. Like the best smelling coconut cream ever. First time I opened it, I got a craving for a pina colada.

Nice conditioner
As an aside, I actually ordered the “Dead Sea” version of this conditioner with castor oil, but received this Avocado and Aloe one. No huge deal, as I am not terribly picky about my deep conditioners. I have shoulder length, curly, dry hair with highlights. What my hair needs most is LOADS of moisture, not oil, just moisture. I use a deep conditioner multiple times a week, and my biggest criteria is that my hair not be be weighed down. This hair mask does a good job! First of all, it smells fantastic! It’s a natural smell (not perfume-y), and it doesn’t change when you rinse it off. Some deep conditioners end up smelling like a chemical mess by the time it’s time to rinse. It is thick, but not oily, and while it did take a while to rinse completely (I have LOADS of hair), it managed to leave my hair soft enough to brush out without my usual need for an added leave in conditioner. I probably used too much my first try, but for my length, about 2 “blobs” would be enough vs. the generous “4 finger scoop” I used. Even so, my hair today isn’t greasy looking, and feels beautifully healthy.
