Misolant Tall Office Chair for Standing Desk, Drafting Chair with Foot Ring, PU Leather Recline High Office Tall Desk Chair with Adjustable Lumbar Support

I work from home and needed a chair for my standing desk. The chair has decent lumbar support and the foot ring can be adjusted to your preference. The chair is comfortable but after an hour you need to get up and move around. Given the price, the materials are good. Assembly had a few challenges but it is sturdy and should last for a few years. Overall it's not a bad chair if you're on a budget.

I bought this chair primarily because the description claimed that the seat depth is 21.3” (I have long legs). In reality, the seat cushion is more like 20”, and the back 2” are useless because of the backrest position. A few inches may not sound like a big deal, but it is when you are sitting in it all day. I wish I’d bought another Hylone, which actually does have a 21.5” usable seat depth (you can see both chairs side-by-side in one of the attached pics). However, I’d recommend it for people with more normal legs. The quality is impressive, the instructions are surprisingly good, and the kit even includes a nice allen wrench, gloves and spares.

I love that it sits really tall when fully extended. I’m 6’2” and I can swing my legs with ease. The only drawback is the foot rest. It doesn’t appear it can hold much weight. Not that it technically needs to hold my entire 190lbs frame, but it doesn’t feel like it can support me when getting on and off the chair. Other than that, great chair. Very comfortable. I can sit for hours.

I did extensive research prior to purchasing this chair, including contacting Misolant. I read all of the reviews online. I had to make sure this would work for me. I am 5'1 and have inflammatory arthritis in my joints. It is difficult to stand in one place for a long period of time and that goes for sitting as well. I have a standing desk and I needed the perfect chair. I had questions about the bar because I needed it to be sturdy for me to put my feet on and it would not move and I needed to make sure I would be able to sit for a long period of time doing work. Some of the reviews concerned me by saying the bar was not wide enough to even put your feet on. Also, I was looking at the Misolant Drafting Chair with the head rest so I had concerns about the bulging lumbar extension whether it was hard because I have had two back surgeries and did not need my back to be aggravated. I emailed Misolant explaining the concerns I was having and wanted to find out whether they thought their chair would check all of the boxes I mentioned above. I got a quick response telling me they would appreciate my business but they did not think their chair would be sufficient for all I needed it to do with my medical issues. I could not believe how honest Misolant was about purchasing their product! I was so impressed that I went to different office stores and did more research and decided on this chair. It was easy to put together. I have been able to sit in the chair for hours without any issues!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CHAIR. I would give them 10 stars if it were an option. Thank you Misolant!
