Wow, true to size, sturdy brim, excellent sun protection, light weight sun hat.

My son loves this hat! He spends a lot of time on the golf course and this is his go-to hat. It provides good shade, keeps it shape well and doesn't get in the way or hamper visibility. It's even handled windy weather and driving a cart without him having to use the chin strap. He hand washed it with laundry detergent and it came out perfectly. And I think it looks amazing on him!

FL Sun in summer is brutal for 18 holes. This hat saves my head and neck and gave from direct sun while playing. No obstruction views with hat on. Adjustable size with cord.

There comes a time when a baseball cap just isn’t going to be enough. TX summer sun is unrelenting but giving up golf is not an option. Breathable, easy to adjust, stays on through swings…good buy.

I don’t golf, but I picked up this hat for trail running in sunny SoCal, and it’s been great. It’s lightweight, breathable, and packs flat for travel. The brim holds its shape even in windy conditions—unlike many wide-brimmed hats—which is a big plus for me. As another reviewer noted, the underside of the white version is black, which helps prevent light from reflecting onto your face. The L/XL fits a bit snugger than other hats I own, but it’s still comfortable.

The hat is perfect for what I need. It blocks the sun, UPF 50 tag, and hand washable. Polyester dobby is water resistent, not waterproof. The 3" brim works for running, not to small or too big. The S/M size fit my head which is consisdered small. The width/circumference can be adjusted, which again is a must for my smaller head. The brim is stiff not floppy and the top is lighweight/thin material covering mesh. The hat comes down far enough on my head.The white colored hat is a "Frequently Returned Item" probably because the underside of the brim is black (see pic). Addidas takes more thought to make practical products (I have other Addidas products - women's baseball cap sized better for a smaller head, crossover bag, gym bag, etc.) If the underside of the brim was white, I think that the unrelenting sun would shine through. The underside would need to be a darker color to block the sun. In this case the black matches the black Addidas logo on the top of the hat.A bigger color selection would be nice and well as 100% waterproof. Each hat could have been packed/stuffed better so that the top would not arrive wrinkled (I let each one sit for the wrinkles to lessen and wearing it should take the rest out). I could have used the hat for the 5K I ran on a brutally sunny and humid day calling for a bucket hat instead of a baseball cap. I would recommend. Take care.

My hat size is 7 1/2. I bought the L/XL size and it fits perfectly with out any adjustment and note that there these is a size adjustment built in. Wore the hat playing golf in 92 degree weather and it was very comfortable. I normally wear a baseball cap playing golf so did not know who I would like the wide brim hat, but never really noticed any difference other than keeping the sun off by neck and ears. My dermatologist will be happy with me!

Great hat for shade. It stays on even on windy days. The brim is nice an ridged so it doesn't flop around.
