An excellent writing instrument, a beautiful ink flow through a well engineered smooth nib [ no running in required ] and got to say a slight edge over my older pricier brands. Especially like the choice of filling options and function. The overall design is pleasing , tasteful not over stated . Pleased with this purchase .

So good I brought both (rollerball & fountain) They look as good as they write, great attention to detail, they have a lovely weight to them but still not heavy, the weight reflects the solid quality of these pens, people who know pens will notice the parts which make these pens superior. Schmidt nib and Schmidt ceramic roller ball refill (re branded scrivener) but they are Schmidt which are extremely high quality, a German company who produce the highest quality. Don’t be fooled because scrivener isn’t a super well known make yet , they will be and the prices will rocket, scrivener is definitely a hidden gem, Don’t keep thinking about it, get it 😁

I like my fountain pens. I have pens more expensive than this at the £100+ price point. But I can't say they're any better. This one seems precision tooled. I particular like the fact that the ink converter is a good size and screws into its slot (as opposed to being simply pushed in like at least oneof my more expensive pens). This makes ink filling less messy. It writes well and feels good in the hand. It's become my go-to pen. Minor quibble - could probably improve the nib slightly - but then I guess it wouldn't be at this price point.

I am so happy with my Scriveiner fountain pen. It is solid, flowing, and reliable. I often get comments about it, and when friends write with it, they love what it does. This pen may be the best I've ever had. The pen is great, but the customer service at Scriveiner is by far the most helpful, genuine, and empathetic contact with any business I've ever had.

The pen had some difficulty arriving as the address was not printed legibaly on the package so the postman really had his work cut out for him. The pen is very aesthetically pleasing and certainly merits lots of praise. If I was to choose a nib again I would select fine as the ink is running down too quickly with the medium size. I believe the medium nib is slightly too wide for the general everyday writer, a fine nib would be a better choice. Overall it is a heavy, stylish pen with good build quality.

Absolutely love this pen. Smooth writing and ink flow amazing. I am lefthanded and it works so well. The pen has a lovely, balanced weight and is comfortable to hold. You do not have to "press" down on nib as it all works beautifully. It definitely is better for the handwriting too! Worth the price. Thank you Scriveiner. Oh yes, it comes in a beautiful box with two extra ink cartridges as well as an ink converter and easy to understand imstructions. Nib is medium, which I prefer, but I think you can order one with a fine nib or even order extra nibs.

This pen is very well designed and I use it every day as my pocket pen. It starts perfectly every time and without skips. Although it's not a flex nib, it has good line variance which I appreciate in a fountain pen. Great value for the price.

Schon seit längerer Zeit habe ich diesen Füllfederhalter im Auge, nun habe ich mich dazu entschlossen ihn zu kaufen. Er kommt in einem sehr ansprechenden, wertigen Karton mit einer weiteren Papierumhüllung. Der Füller sitzt auf einem Kissen im Karton, darunter findet sich noch ein Päckchen mit zwei Standard Tintenpatronen. Ausserdem ein Poliertuch, welches auch nötig ist, der Füller ist ein Magnet für Fingerabdrücke. Ich habe die Version als EDC in Gold gewählt, während das Grundmaterial Messing ist, sind sowohl die Feder als auch der ganze Füllfederhalter 24 Karat vergoldet. Die EDC Version ist etwas kürzer, kann trotzdem auch ohne Kappe komfortabel benutzt werden. Die Kappe ist sowohl unten als auch oben geschraubt. Es braucht eine Idee mehr als eine Umdrehung zum öffnen. Er ist einfach wunderschön und auf Hochglanz poliert! Er liegt mit fast 50g schwer in der Hand. Durch die Riffelung am unteren Teil rutschen die Finger nicht ab.. Er kommt mit einem bereits installierten Konverter, so kann man alternativ zu den Patronen auch Tinte aus einem Fass verwenden. Als Feder wird eine Schmidt Feder verwendet, ich habe die Version F (Fein) genommen. Das Befüllen des Konverters erfolgt wie üblich durch drehen. Es funktioniert gut, man sollte aber bis der Feed richtig gefüllt ist mehrmals etwas Tinte ansaugen und dann wieder nach unten drehen damit am Ende mehr Tinte in den Konverter kommt. Verwendung: Solange man sehr langsam schreibt, erhält man ein sauberes Schriftbild, wie auf der ersten Schriftprobe zu sehen. Es dauert jedoch am Anfang immer. Man muss den ersten Buchstaben fast immer nachzeichnen. Die Feder ist etwas kratzig und man erhält deutliches Feedback. Schreibt man schneller, oder z.B. bei einer Unterschrift grösser, wird das ganze jedoch richtig kratzig und die Tinte kommt nicht schnell genug nach, es entstehen viele Aussetzer. Hier hat mich die Schmidt Feder massiv enttäuscht, da habe ich schon Füller unter 10€ erlebt, die es schaffen wesentlich weicher und ohne Aussetzer zu schreiben. Fazit: Wirklich hochwertig verarbeiteter, edler Füllfederhalter, die Feder ist jedoch für ein flüssiges Schreiben eher ungeeignet, evtl. erhält man mit einer Feder in M ein flüssigeres Schriftbild. UPDATE: Hier ein update vom 11.12.2025 Nach meiner Rezension hat mich, ohne dass ich mich dort gemeldet hätte, Scriveiner bei mir gemeldet. Der Kundenservice ist wirklich herausragend. Mein Problem wurde sofort richtig verstanden und ohne wenn und aber eine Ersatzlieferung veranlasst. Diese kam heute an und was soll ich sagen... Dieser schreibt wirklich wunderbar weich ohne jeden Aussetzer, eine Schriftprobe habe ich als letztes Foto angehängt. Ich bedanke mich hier noch einmal bei Scriveiner für einen Kundenservice, der seinesgleichen sucht!. Meine Bewertung habe ich aufgrund der neuen Umstände von 3 auf 5 Sterne erhöht und kann den Füllfederhalter uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
