This set has alot of pieces, which means it's a versatile in the ways it's played with. It has a gentle glow in the dark. The battery life doesn't last long. The quality is decent. Overall this will offer alot of fun, but about 30 minutes at a time due to short battery life.

My son is over the hill with this item! We connected the tracks together and totally love this trainset!

Train set is really nice. Instructions unclear, but it all came together after about 3hours. Good quality, durable. Battery doesn’t last long. Not sure why. The battery was plugged in overnight and child only played with it about 20 mins before it quit. Any suggestions?

If I could give it a 0 star I would. It's broken and the pieces don't even match up. Junk i have a very upset boy on his birthday because it's broken.

When it comes to the world of toys, I think glow in the dark, anything is almost automatically a winner and this train set is no exception. The set comes with 85 pieces, including tracks, trains, bridges, and accessories, providing endless possibilities for building and creating different track layouts.The high versatility of this set makes it a great way to encourage imaginative play and storytelling as little ones can create different scenarios and adventures for this playset.The set comes with two cars, so kids can have fun racing them against each other or seeing whose car can go the furthest on the track. The best part is, the cars are compatible with other tracks and can run on a variety of smooth surfaces, giving kids even more options for play.

This little train set is fun and entertaining, and a value for the money.First of all, everything arrived in good condition and all parts and pieces were in the box, including what you'll need to recharge the battery (which is located in the base of the engine, accessed by removing 2 small screws). The charging cable is USB, so you'll need an AC adapter if you want to plug it into the wall, but I do like that the red light on the plug goes out when charging is complete.Everything fit together well. The track pieces interlock, so they don't go together or come apart easily, which is actually a plus is some ways, but an older child or adult will likely need to help younger children. There were 20 or so stickers to put on, but I was impressed by how well all the stickers fit in their spaces ... very well cut.It's especially fun that the train runs on a little cog-wheel system so it easily navigates an upside-down loop if you choose to use that in your configuration. Instructions were fairly clear, and include details for 4 different track configurations, but you can also create your own.The only things that kept me from giving it 5 stars were:- There isn't enough clearance for the train to consistently go under the bridge if you build the track on carpet, since the track settles into the carpet just a bit. If the supports for the bridge were just about 1/4" taller, that would solve the problem, but you can easily put something under the bridge to lift it up a bit too, and that would fix the problem.- Following the picture on the box was somewhat easier than following the setup instructions, but we weren't able to make it exactly as pictured (the train needs to be set up to run on the set of tracks closest to the grandstand, and not the one farther away, as pictured.) It took a bit to figure that out, but once we did, everything else worked great!- Turning the train on automatically turns on the sound and a strange, tinny-sounding music track, and that get a bit old. Would have LOVED if the music could be turned off separately.Otherwise, though, we're pleased with this set and our grandkids (ages 3 to almost 6) are loving it!
