I made the mistake recently of getting new salt and pepper pots that were both the same wood finish, and it is all but impossible to tell which is salt and which is pepper. This set solves that problem very stylishly.Not only is the salt white and the pepper black, there are also S and P engraved on the tops.Each one is about 5 inches tall so not excessively large, fine for home use. They're easy to refill and to use, and both give a nice smooth dispense of salt/pepper.The main thing for me is that they look really smart, very nicely finished.

Reasonable quality rubberwood salt and pepper grinders. Basic and easy to use, simply unscrew the top and lift the lid to add the salt or pepper. There is a thin plastic washer between the top and bottom parts of the grinders, and you can adjust the size of the output using the screw top.Each unscrewable top had either an "S" or "P" - weirdly mine had the "P" attached to the white grinder and "S" to the black one - personally I prefer them the other way round and I couldn't see any difference between the two grinders, so just swapped them over.There was a little bit of rough wood/defect on the tops, but you couldn't see that unless taking the tops off.They seemed to work well although unsurprisingly they did leave a bit of residue on the table after use.

Unfortunately they leave salt and pepper whenever you set them down. Would have been better if they sat on a tray
