Right you are. It is *not* the "same 1928 recipe " When they say it has "The same great flavor you remember as a kid," they're not talking to people who remember a world before HFCS.

Q: If you were to re create a horror scene in the shower, would this be useful for fake blood in Black and white?

Alfred Hitchcock reportedly used Bosco as fake blood in the shower scene of his movie, "Psycho."

Q: Does your 'original' have the malt and vanilla or, like several other 'originals' I've purchased, it is the new formula and does not? Big difference!!

The one I have in the stock, doesn't have malt or vanilla.

Q: How does this compare to Hersheys Chocolate Syrup?

In my personal opinion, Bosco chocolate syrup is so much better than Hershey's in terms of flavor. Hard to explain the difference other than it just tastes better to me.
