McCook MC39 14 Pieces Full Tang Triple Rivet Kitchen Knife Block Set with Built-in Sharpener and Kitchen Scissor, Black

I ordered these knives shortly before Christmas after our kitchen remodel. They arrived in a timely manner, with terrific protective packaging. They perfectly match our stainless steel slate appliances, are attractive, well made and super sharp. My only complaint initially was that one of the steak knives was missing from the set. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and followed through to make sure the missing knife was shipped and delivered. I've now received it and am thrilled with the completed set!

I purchased this for my camp. While i have a more expensive knife set in my home, i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. The knives are well balanced and are sharp. I especially like the built in sharpener, saves on purchasing one.

Sharp knife, great block holder with a lot of knives in a small area and love the sharpener that is attached to the block. They are durable and clean look and just overall for the price it is a steal

I like the knives themselves, as well as the sharpener that comes built in. They came sharp too. Also, the knives feel really solid. Where the loss of one star comes in is kind of petty, but still. The station that the knives go into was kind of made "shoddy". By that I mean some holes appeared skinny on one end and wide on the other. Also unpainted parts. Just seemed like poor QA/QC. If you have the knives in you can't even tell. But still, they could improve on that aspect. Otherwise it is great. Would buy again and recommend.

My husband and I are not chefs by any means. We are "experimenters" in the kitchen. We find recipes we like and tweak them all over the place. These knives are great for my Rheumatoid arthiritic hands. I can hold them easy and they do the work for me. They cut great. We are educating ourselves on the purpose of each knife and find that for years we have been using them wrong..go figure lol. These are great knives for those that are not culinary experts but want quality.

I normally don’t review things as I should, and I wanted to wait to review this but it’s been a month and I have to say this knife set is totally worth it!! It’s so nice to have a nice looking knife set along with one that does the job!! You MUST clean them the way it says to! Wash and hand dry! NO DISHWASHER. Mine show no signs of rusting and I just love the set. Totally affordable and yet durable. A smart purchase!

This is the perfect knife set for us rookie cooks and I love the blade sharpening tool attached to it as well! I definitely recommend this!

I would have given this a full set of stars however the steak knives have started to rust. This was a gift and they only just told me after the first wash, dry and rack up they took it out and found this.
