I agree with some other reviewers. This product is so hard that it could potentially damage the vehicle. Huh? Wasn't the idea to get something that would protect the vehicle? I wrapped a cloth around it to soften the surface. There must be better products out there that are better designed.

In my garage, I park my car on the left and my wife parks her car on the right. My old car had a couple small dings and slight scratches from a few times my wife got too close to my car and opened her door without paying too much attention. So, I wanted something to protect my new car from the same thing and I found this. It took me about 10 minutes to hang it from the ceiling of our garage (drywall ceiling). It was a bit tricky to tie the strings to the bumper at just the right height as I was basically trying to hold the bumper in mid air while I was tying it up.I like that it is long enough to protect the doors no matter how far in my wife pulls into the garage.

These are a good idea and they work fine. Wish they were a little longer and it would be nice to have a soft material on the sides so if/when they brush up against your car they don't scratch the paint.

The wife kept banging my car door with hers when she was parked. I thought this would stop that, unfortunately its too bulky that she can't even open her door wide enough to get out. The search continues....

This item is more trouble than help. The first time I let a friend check out my car, they had to move this door guard out of their way by using the flimsy rope, which hit the side of my car and became more of a hazard than help. I would design a better one, if I had the time.

These guards are smaller and harder than they appear. Setting them up strategically to keep two doors from hitting each other is tough. You would be better off hanging a packing blanket in between the two vehicles. I sent this item back.

This product really works. Our garage layout makes us park our cars very close together, and this guard has made it easier to get in and out without door dings. It is easy to install, too.

Too short to work as a bumper for a four door car. Too expensive to buy and hang two. I replaced it with pool noodles ($3).

Really good parking aid as I use it to guide my car in the garage. As soon as I touch it I know I need to turn the wheel to move away from the wall.

My experience with ordering things in amazon has always been very positive. Items were as they appeared, and if for some reasons I needed to return them, it was simple and friendly. Until now. DEALKINGS' product and after sale service has been a terrible and frustrating experience. This product, which now sells for over $100, is strictly a flimsily piece of light yellow plastic, too light to serve the purpose for which it is sold. It would be the equivalent of hanging a piece if styrofoam between your two cars in the garage. For that price, I simply cannot understand. So I decided to return it. Buyer beware: it cost me over $20 of shipping fee to return! This is not due to the weight but rather the length if the item. I wrote to DEALKINGS explaining that I felt I had been had by the product and the cost of returning it. I asked them to pay for this shipping back, which they originally agreed to pay. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. 17 emails later and four weeks passed, and they now told me they would not reimburse the shipping. Dealing with this company has been very unpleasant and frustrating. I am out $20 for a product that was not more than $2 from a dollar store. Not cool. Stay away from this particular product, and from this company.
