Simply put, it works and it's legit.
Works VERY well. I used this PTM on a Minisforum BD795i SE Motherboard so not a traditional CPU. It worked very well on direct CPU-die similar to how a GPU would work. I personally found it easy to apply but I can see people making mistakes if not careful when peeling. Temps are very good however it took around 3 days to finalise. At first then temps looked similar to before however they DID improve. I have tested genuine Honeywell PTM in the past and this performed identical. Great value and authentic.

Improved laptop performance
It's been around 3 weeks now and I am really happy with my laptop temperatures after using PTM! For context, I have an Asus Rog Stryx laptop which uses liquid metal on the GPU and CPU. When I first bought it I didn't know much about liquid metal but thought it sounded interesting and was even quite excited to have a laptop with it. Boy was I wrong... After about 2 years of using my laptop and not having any issues, the laptop started shutting off while playing certain games. I tried seeing if I can sort the issue out through software changes but soon realized the issue ran deeper than that. It was clearly overheating and shutting down to save itself. I then opened the bugger and as you can see from the second photo, the liquid metal was anywhere but on the bloody GPU or CPU, hence crispy black spots in the middle. I did a lot of reading and decided to not use my familiar thermal paste but instead go for PTM and I'm glad I did. I won't lie to you putting it on is tricky. I bought 2 sheets for my GPU and CPU as it was my first time using it and I knew I needed to have space for error which I had. I recommend putting it in the fridge before using as it tends to soften up in your hands. Plenty of YouTube tutorials out there on this. Finally got it on as you can see on the first photo and put some thermal sheets on my VRAM and VRMs before closing it off. Temperature-wise, don't expect a huge drop, especially on your laptop as gaming laptops tend to have high temps. What was important for me is that the PTM keeps temps in the safe boundaries and saves my CPU and GPU and that it does. Overall, the quality of the PTM and packaging was really good and since I was able to do this myself rather than sending to a repair shop I got more than my money's worth. Would highly recommend!

Fiddly as all hell - but colder than ice
Used this to repaste my old Razer blade 1070 (2018) That bad boy had some dried up paste and pads . This was a pretty simple swap - but I cant lie peeling this off the dies was a nightmare without it tearing. Its definitely good to work fast and while its cold - I made the "mistake" of heating up the PTM with a hair dryer to increase adherence to the CPU/GPU but i think it made it equally as hard to remove the final film layer - so I recommend reading the instructions (Cool it in the fridge) and watching some videos before hand and be PREPARED for the final refit before you take the plastic off - Great value for money and solid performance

Best TIM for laptops - and anything else I guess
There are 49 screws between me and my laptop's CPU. And every few weeks my Arctic MX-7 makes me wish I'd stuck with the stock 8 year-old thermal paste instead because the pump-out effect on this stuff is unreal. So I replace it, thinking this time my thermal paste applying technique will be better, but alas, the moment it's heated up it vanishes from under the CPU die. This PTM stuff is amazing. It outperforms freshly applied Arctic MX-7 and the more you put it through heat cycles the better it performs. I've gone from temperatures of 50°C trying to open Firefox to 36°C. If you buy this stuff instead of a thermal paste tube, even though you can only apply it once you're still getting better value for money (unless you build many PCs obviously). It is obviously a pain to apply. For laptops, I personally recommend cutting out slightly more than you need and then using a blade to cut it to shape after you've applied it because there is no way a human is getting that perfectly aligned - and if you don't on the first try, you have no choice but to scrape it off and try with a new piece.

Not fit for purpose
First of all, if you were mislead into thinking this is just a rebranded PTM7950, then that is incorrect. It is a Honeywell PTM, however the properties are different to 7950 and performance is slightly worse. The main issue is that the application method is terrible. The red tape that is meant to assist in peeling off the plastic layer will simply rip off with minimal force, leaving the plastic layer behind with no way of peeling it off other than digging your nail under it. I cut this product into 3, and all 3 application attempts this happened. Every time it was ruined.

Well worth the tricky install!
I wanted to see if all the hype around PTM (Phase Change Thermal Material) was real, so I decided to do some real-world testing on a laptop. For the test, I used a ThinkPad L14 with a Ryzen 7 PRO 5580u CPU. Before installing the PTM, I did a fresh repaste with Arctic MX-4 to give the standard thermal paste a fair chance. Under an AIDA64 stress test, the CPU held steady at 74°C at 100% usage. During PassMark’s performance test, the max temperature hit 83.5°C. Honestly, that’s already pretty solid for a laptop with this much power. Then I swapped in the Thermal Grizzly PTM. With the same AIDA64 stress test, temps dropped to 68°C, and the PassMark test peaked at 81.9°C. Not a massive difference, but still an improvement. The bigger surprise came when I used PTM on my ThinkPad X1 Yoga. That laptop always used to run hot with fans blasting at full speed during anything intensive. After applying PTM, it runs noticeably cooler to the touch, and the fans don’t ramp up nearly as much. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. PTM is trickier to install than regular thermal paste, but the results are worth it—lower temps, quieter fans, and a cooler laptop. TL;DR: Harder to apply than paste, but gives real improvements in both temps and noise.

Better than Thermal Paste for on die cooling
As the title says, this is a much better thermal material for on die cooling such as GPUs and consoles. It may be 2 or 3c hotter but this will NOT push out like thermal paste lasting forever. Using this on my GTX 1080 improved thermals by like 20c, did the same on a 4080 super temps were 1 or 2c worse but kinda expected. When applying it's a pain in the arse even with putting it in the fridge and trying to stick it down but you eventually get it.

Great performance, but not for ametuers.
Used this to replace the paste on both CPU and GPU on my Alienware X15 R2. Took 3 hours to do, and I also cleans the fans whilst everything was apart. Glad I did it, as the Element31 on the CPU looked like it was leaking out of the CPU dam. the GPU Paste was rather dry and crumbly. After completing the service, the laptop is running lots cooler (mainly the fan cleaning) but the GPU is also running cooler, and the i9 cpu is able to run up to higher clock speeds. It's been on for several days, has been getting better each day. 4 days after install, my CPU is now running with an average core temp of under 84C, when had multiple cores bouncing at 100C. For application I put it in the fridge for a couple of days before opening the case, used a pair of scissors to cut the sheet to the correct size for each chip and and was able to peel off the plastic without ripping things, though you do have to be careful with it, as it's thin and delicate. I feel confident that my laptop has been given a new lease of life, and it's running as cool as when I first got it. Whilst this stuff isn't cheap, I think the performance and peace of mind that I'm not going to have a gallium leak makes it worth the cost. Time will tell how long it will last, that said if I get 5 years out of it, I'll be really happy, and everything I've seen so far leads me to think that it's going to do that and a whole lot more. I'm interested to see what the temps are like when it stops bedding in.

THIS THING IS INSANE
I own a Lambda Tensorbook 2 (basically a Razer 15) for a few years now. Some days ago, I opened it up, and re applied thermal paste (MX-40) carefully on GPU and CPU. The improvement was significant, but it showed two hotter spots which were still causing some throttling. So I decided to try this product. I left it in the fridge about 10 minutes, cleaned the old paste, cut the sheet into two pieces for GPU and CPU, and applied the sheets over them. BOOM. 5 seconds. The peel is a bit hard to remove, technical tweezers helped. I cut it slightly bigger than the chips, and still got some left for a change in the future. TEMPS ARE INSANE! The PC sits now at 4300 MHz across all cores in PL2 (boost mode) with avg temp around 80 (more or less 20 seconds boost, 90 W), and at 3700 all cores in PL2 at about 60 degrees. ZERO THERMAL THROTTLING. The GPU couldn’t get hotter than 61 degrees in 5 minutes of test load. My fans are now basically never on. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great customer service
Great product, used it to install in my ryzen 7 mini PC, and have definitely seen some temperatures drop. My original sheet had a defect were the removal line was, I emailed the company and recieved 2 replacement sheets and a bottle of duronaut thermal paste. So I'd definitely recommend it.

Easier than Thermal paste and works amazing
Another amazing Thermal Grizzly product. Easy to use, much easier and simpler than Thermal paste. Used it on my RTX3090 massive improvement of thermals. I highly recommend this product
