Seals well.
Used this to seal a leak in my Quadrafire pellet stove. It works great. Very sticky. Easy cleanup. Very durable. No drips, dries quickly and seals well.

Jury is still out...
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This sealant is silicone based and should last a few years. We are using it to seal the 1/8-1/4" gap between the door unit and the marble surrounding it.

Messy but works
This is the second brand I have tried. This was a little messier than the first. But the color is great. It was worked well sealing my fireplace and doesn’t crack. No bad fumes. And decent price

It worked
What can I say, its fireplace sealant, it showed up as expected and has been in place for less than 24 hours. Amazon has to give us time before they hassle us for a review write up.

Didn’t work for my use, turned to dust and washed away
Maybe my application was wrong, in which case I’ll change my review under user error, but I used this to seal my fireplace boot to my metal roof. The caulk literally turned into dust and washed away with the first rain. The fireplace was never even turned on, so the heat resistance aspect of the product was not put to the test.
