It was a bit too challenging for my 7-year-old son to do on his own, so his 10-year-old sister helped him finish it. They both absolutely loved this little gift!

Great STEM robotics kit! It’s fun to build and the spider robot is really cool once assembled. The instructions are easy to follow, and it’s a great way for kids to learn about robotics and programming while having fun.

This kit uses cheap parts that look like they came out of a 3d printer. The instructions are non-existent. I spent over an hour trying to find the instructions and then it was a battle to find the code. It also requires special additions to your Arduino IDE to make it work. I managed to get through all of that only to find that it doesn't work! I calibrated the unit and then it won't stand, walk anything. I am fairly computer savvy and have assembled several Arduino projects (I even designed a few) and I still found this to be way harder than it should be. I have reached out to customer service to see if they can help me get this working but, I completely expect to be returning this. I feel like this is a neat idea that was very poorly executed

Needs special batteries. Wished it would've stated that beforehand. Christmas gift child still waiting for battery delivery

This kit is a lot of fun

The servos included are supposed to be metal geared based on how it is specced on the housing, but they included only plastic gear servos. This dramatically shortens the lifespan of the product, and overall diminished the value I saw in buying this. The kit seems to come with everything needed, and no parts were missing. I am just disappointed in the servos having plastic gears. Building the kit is educational and fun for a first or second time robot builder, and instructions are complete.

This Biped robot STEM kit is great for adults interested in building things and learning a bit of coding, and kids with an interest in robotics, have the dexterity to work with very small pieces and tools and the patience to go through the tutorials will be able to do this too. For $90 it is pretty good value considering the number of hours it will keep someone occupied when doing the project. The thing I always worry about with these types of packs is the instructions. It links you to the public Acebott website which has long detailed instructions for the build and coding aspects of this project, so I need not have had concerns about whether the directions would be sufficient, because they're detailed and easy to follow.

Der Aufbau ist gut beschrieben und somit für Kinder im entsprechenden Alter ein schönes Lernerlebnis. Einfach zu programmieren. Probleme gab es nur in der Verbindung mit der App. Hier ist darauf zu achten, dass nur das WLAN aktiv ist, Mobilfunk muss ausgeschaltet sein. Sonst bekommt die App, trotz bestehendem WLAN, keine Verbindung.

Il montaggio è abbastanza complesso però molto carino . Peccato la batteria non è compresa nel kit , dovrebbe essere inclusa .
