With Christmas coming up and a hard to buy for husband, I thought of getting him something useful for his office at work. He hardly leaves the office and works extremely late. He loves his coffee and usually takes a case of Dr. Pepper into work with him at times and it then dawned on me, a little refrigerator for his office to keep his soda cans chilled. The search was on, as I scoured Amazon I found this cute little Uber XL mini fridge that would be a perfect gift. It came in a couple of colors, Red, Silver or Matte Black, I chose Gun Metal for him. It can hold up to 12 cans of drinks and a few snacks that need to be kept chilled. It also comes with both a 110v ac wall plug and a 12v dc plug for your car, home,camper or wherever you choose to use it. Another great feature it has is, there’s switch on the back you can choose to cool your drinks to 32*F degrees below ambient temperature or keep your food WARM to 135*F. This is perfect because he often does not have time to run out and grab lunch! It has a nice sleek and compact design and feel to it. The internal dimension run roughly 8.25” W x 5.25” D x 9.75” H. This is perfect for his needs. And I don’t have to worry if he has a a warm lunch, snack or drinks when he works late. One perfect, unique Christmas gift down for he husband. I absolutely LOVE this little fridge. I read the mixed reviews on it and wanted to take the chance and I could not be happier that I did. This Uber XL mini fridge is an absolute perfect addition to anyone for every reason. I personally got it for my baby and his bottles in the middle of the night. Now most moms would want it for the warming but my baby likes his bottles cold and I’ve even had to warm them just a few seconds because this fridge gets them cold-cold. When I read up on it the fridge gets about 32-40 degrees colder or warmer than the surrounding temperature so since I keep it about 70 degrees in my home we are talking 30-38 degrees. It has a car adapter for road trips and a handle made right into the top of it for easy carry everywhere. It’s a gorgeous color and the perfect size for any space. The fridge holds up to 12 cans or at least 6 of my babies bottles. I can’t speak highly enough on how awesome this mini fridge is and so easy to use. With the on/off switch and cool/warm switch right on the back it is ready to go in no time. Absolutely adore this and may be on the lookout for another for the teenager.

I purchased this electric cooler about 12 months ago, and just last week I noticed a hot smell when it was plugged in and running. I unplugged it and let it sit for a couple of days. When I plugged it in again I noticed that the engine appeared to be struggling, and shortly thereafter it started smoking; the outside of the cooler was super hot, so it was obvious the motor had burned up. What concerns me is that in the past, I wasn’t always around when the cooler was plugged in and in use, so thank goodness I was this time, as it could have started a fire. What a joke...nothing is made to last anymore!

Depending on what you need this for, this is a great product that sorta does what it says - though it must be noted that it's really more of an electronic cooler rather than a real mini-fridge. A real fridge runs between 32-40°F. This unit says it only cools up to 32°F BELOW ambient temperature. I use this in an office that averages 75°F everyday according to an indoor thermometer I have. I tested inside the unit after having it plugged in for several hours but the temp capped at 50°F. That's only a -25° difference which is really disappointing. Gotta knock off a star for that. However, I experimented with two ice packs and managed to get the temp down to 42°. I may use this method to store creamer, though it's a pain that I'll have to remember to throw the ice packs in the freezer every other day (and I'll probably have to store the creamer in my office fridge on the weekends). Otherwise, it’s a decent size if you plan to use it for a few items. As you can see in my photos, the internal dimension run roughly 8.25” W x 5.25” D x 9.75” H. This is perfect for my needs. Also, it’s quiet. Sure, you can hear a soft hum from the fan but you can barely notice it. I work in a very quiet office and asked my cube neighbor if she could hear it, and she said she didn't even realize I had plugged something in! One last gripe to mention, according to Uber’s instructions - the unit needs a 1 hour break after it has been working for 48 hours. This is a bit inconvenient for those who plan to run it constantly so keep that in mind. I'll probably unplug it over the weekends.

This mini fridge fits perfectly on his night stand. Its 8.25"x5.25"x9.75" and lightweight. The gun metal silver is shiny and sleek and the retro look matches our bedroom perfectly. I love that this mini fridge comes with both a 110 volt ac wall plug and a 12 volt dc car plug. It is the perfect size to fit in the back seat of my SUV for road trips. It cools to 32 degrees and heats up to 135 degrees, so definitely convenient for on the road. For reference, this mini fridge fits 6 bottles of water or 12 cans of soda stacked. The fan on it is super quiet, so I can barely hear it running. The fridge came packaged nicely in a well designed, sleek box. The packaging and product definitely represent each other.

Works great. Chills the beer etc fairly quickly. Havent tried the warming feature. Prolly never will. Great deal for the price too.
