JOYTUTUS Vehicle Awning 4.6'x6.6' Roof Rack Pull-Out Sun Shade UV50+, Weatherproof 4x4 Side Awning for Camping, Car Sunshade with Adjustable Hardware, Quick Set-up, Compatible with SUV/Truck/Van/Jeep

Packaged amazingly. Very, very simple installation. Quality cover, materials are good. It's only 4.5 by 6 feet so not huge, but gets the job done.

For the price I’m pleased with it. I have it on my 2014 Tacoma double cab. I drilled two holes on my roof racks to mount it. Nice and sturdy. I love how it’s one piece and can just fold the legs up. No losing parts

This product surprised me honestly. The mounting brackets, quality of the tarp and quality of the awning bag all exceeded my expectations. I gave it 4 stars because the poles/legs do feel a little cheap, but still feels like they would last and not break easily. For the price, I highly recommend it.

Out of the box I was very pleased with the design of this. For starters, the cover seems to be great quality. I can’t yet speak to how water resistant it is but will update as it gets exposure. The design of the awning is excellent. It has two legs which fold in and make the process of dismantling very easy for one person. There are also two support bars for the sides that fold in, making this product very compact. I intended to mount it to my bed rack but it was too low so I went for my roof rack. The install process was very easy. I ended up using the longer bolts and the cross bar that it came with. The instructions are pretty bad but it’s fairly straightforward if you have a rack to work with. I will end up adding some additional bolts so it’s very secure but for now I’m confident in it. My initial worry was the assembly process with just one person but it’s perfectly manageable and even rolling it back up was very easy. The quality of the awning material is great and seems it may be a great help for camping. I love that the height of the legs is adjustable and the coverage area is excellent for one person. I am going to Joshua Tree this weekend where there isn’t much shade so I will really be able to tell how well it works.

I wouldnt wish this thing on my worst enemy. If you're thinking about getting this for a camper van DONT. I fully regret purchasing and installing this. It is impossible to assemble alone at the height it allows. What am I supposed to do lug around a step ladder just to use this thing. The arms do not flex downward to a reachable height pin it all together and velcro the awning on. Look around, if you're purchasing for anything taller than a car or you dont own a pair of stilts - DO. NOT. BUY. THIS.

This awning is very well built . The shade fabric itself, is thick and does a great job of providing shade and protection from the rain and snow, the poles strong and withstood 20 miles hour winds out in the desert. Both of the folding brackets that hold the side poles are made of metal, unlike other rooftop awnings that make this from plastic and end up breaking with heavy winds. This thing is solid affordable and not heavy at all. I would definitely recommend it.

Super easy install, pleasantly surprised with the quality. Just made a bracket to mount to the roof rails on my 87 Delica. Used it a couple times and it fit my purposes well. The zipper feels sturdy and "thick" and functions well. The floor pegs and strings along with the right poles give it wind resistance but I haven't had a chance to test that part yet.

Happy with this product so far. It was a really great price especially compared to many name brands out there. The awning was easy to set up, and I didn’t really even need the instructions. Hope it lasts at least a few years of use. I’m not sure how well it’ll handle some wind or rain, but I usually pack up things like this if the weather isn’t great. I loved the mounting brackets. They worked well with my roof rack.
