I replaced an older, manual release (ie, w/foot) version with this one.It's a lot easier to use - just press the lever and the stop lifts up and releases.The screw holes on the new one matched the ones on the old - nice.It also has an adustable (and removable) soft end pad, in case you need to make minor adjustments after installation.The mount comes with a rubber pad/plate that lives between the base and the door - makes sense, to keep moisture where it belongs, but the rubber pad has shapes in it that do not fit well with the kickstop plate - no idea why that would be.(The tabs line up, but the ridges on the rest of the rubber plate do not). I installed it as is, however, and it seems to have fit allright anyway.I also like the white paint, which matches my door nicely.Not perfect, but better than the one it replaces.

I upgraded to these from the regular door stops which I had to manually pull up either using my hand or my toes . These are a breeze- just tap your foot in the lever and it pops up. They are also adjustable so if you didn’t get the level to the ground right, you can do a bit of adjustment. Mine worked perfect where I had the previous set. The finish is quite nice too. Will highly recommend.

Nice sturdy metal construction, useful spring loaded retract and adjustable foot height, easy to install, nice black finish all around, great price, nice product.

This works great. The ability to lock it down and then use the kickstand to unlock it is a great idea. However, the kickstand is positioned so that it is in the way of the top screw making it difficult to install. It did come with hardware, an extra screw, and nice instructions.
