Overall great tool. Set a goal of catching 20 fish and made it to 19 before having to retire the pole. Didn’t wash it throughly after utilizing in salt water when first purchased so the was quiet a bit of rust build-up. Broke the sprocket and while trying to field strip it. Ordered a new on though and excited to get back at it! I ran into no issues with performance and would advise to use lock thread on the exterior not to prevent the handle from coming off. Worked fine with braided line.

Had one as a child - wish I would have kept it. Bought these brand new for the grandsons and they love them. Easy to use and work great. Compact & versatile.

It is the Pocket Fisherman. It works nicely and takes up like zero space. Fully capable of catching fish up to medium sized. Already lost the roostertail lure that came with it. Bummer. Went fishing once already this year and got bites on some fake worms but no catching. Not a great trip anyway. Looking forward to more casts.
