Works same as OEM so far! I installed it replacing the bad one, and immediately drove 2 hours home. 0 problems with it so far, the installation was straightforward, and it’s priced low compared to the original part. Hopefully someone in my same position finds this helpful, it fit my MK7 2015 VW GTI. I’ll update this if anything happens!

There are many variations and models of this PCV over the years from VW that have slight differences in an effort to minimize carbon buildup. This had slight variations from the one removed from my 2015 VW MK7 GTI but was almost identical so I gave it a shot. Install was seamless and straightforward. The fit was the exact same. The only major worry I had was that the gasket seal that comes with does not seem as robust as the OEM one I removed but the seal could have also been very swollen visually due to my PCV being older and its exposure to oil. It seated properly and secured properly. On startup I had no engine hesitation or audible issues, no warning messages, no CEL or other indicators. So far a very good priced replacement. I will update this after I have driven more I just use my GTI occasionally but so far it’s legit and I recommend.

Black foam hose does not fit well to the valve cover. It will pop off and if you can get it to snap on the seal is questionable You don’t want a leak in this spot.

*Update November 19th) Amazon/seller sent me a new PCV system which was awesome customer service not going to deny that but the problem was the hose they sent was too wide of an opening at the end so when it snapped into place it wasn't a tight seal and I needed an airtight seal and a snug fit because it's oil going through there whenever the engine's running and had I used the new hose in my second PCV they sent me it wouldn't have worked like the first hose which was broken and cracked The oil would have leaked out of this hose because of the bad o-ring just like it would have leaked out of the first one because it was cracked and it wouldn't actually snap on to the PCV valve crankcase vent valve whatever you want to call it. So luckily I was still able to use my genuine OEM original factory made Volkswagen PCV hose. It worked but one of the PCV hoses were connects at the end of it had a broken plastic piece that was essential for snapping it on for a secure airtight fitment because of this I had to reuse the old factory PCV hose that I didn't pay for. The other hose in the PCV valve itself was fine but when I'm purchasing an item I don't want something that is broken and detrimental to the function of my vehicle. The two hoses included were sitting on top of the PCV valve that was in that little bubble wrap protective sleeve The hoses themselves were loose in the box and not protected which I think is most likely the reason why one of the hoses was broken and not usable.

Had a vacuum pressure problem , this fixed it , crankcase pressure is back to normal
