These tarps are great quality and an excellent buy. Besides the product, the customer service of Redcamp is amazing! The original package came ripped open with three tarps missing. They immediately replaced them and tracked the order until I received the replacements. It has been a long time since I’ve seen Customer Service this good! I will definitely buy from them again.

The Rakaia Designs 1 Person Lightweight Tent didn't come with a footprint and I had to guess at the correct size. The 83x36 fits as though it was specifically built for this tent. The material is heavy and appears quite durable. It folds down quite small and fits perfectly into the bottom of my Camelbak Rim Runner 22 pack. It probably isn't the best for the ultra-lightweight guys, but for normal people doing a bit of normal daypack/overnighters it is probably about as ideal as it gets.The tabs are very well stitched with very good materials and the grommets are very well set. I expect good longevity for this product and the price, in this guy's opinion, is more than reasonable.

I keep this tarp in my hunting pack as it fits nicely and is lightweight. This is a great tarp to for a makeshift shelter during an unexpected rain or snow storm while in the mountains.

I was hesitant because of the price, but I took a chance and purchased the 118 x 116 tarp. I bought it as a ground cover for my new tent. It is not true to it's size, but I think that is all tarps. It still fit the tent size that I had. It was a couple inches under the size of the tent all the way around. Which worked out nice since you don't want it sticking out from the bottom of the tent. I packed up after the second day and the top of the tarp was dry and the under side was wet, so it was a success. The feel of the tarp is very durable and I am glad I got it.

Works for the northface wawona 6 tent for the footprint. Save your money and purchase this. Been in use every year we go camping and still holding strong

This has been used as a groudsheet under a tent, for car-camping. It's the right size for our tent, which is an 8x8, so we have a little bit extra to use in the tent vestibule, which is nice. The fabric looks pretty durable and with a light rain one night, this tarp didn't absorb much water, and was still easy to flick clean and fold up. It folds nicely into a decently non-bulky form factor, and I keep it in the tent bag itself.

I bought this because I needed a better tent tarp for camping because of gravel I had to put my tent on and the tarp I have current is just about reached the end of it's life. I have an older tent that is octagon shaped so it was really hard trying to find a square tarp to fit my tent. I did the best I could to get the measurements close and it covered most of my tent floor but not all.When we layed down the tarp the 1st night I was amazed on how you could barely feel the gravel below the tent compared to the tarps I use from the store.On my 2nd day camping I ran into a problem with my sleeping bag and instead of un-staking my tent we just pulled the tarp out from underneath the tent. With all the gravel on the ground I was very impressed that the tarp didn't ripe or tear and only one side of the tarp was damp and my tent was dry. We had to fold the tarp up 4 times due to my sleeping bag issue and when the tent got un-staked 2 days later you could see the difference from where the tarp was to where is wasn't. 1/2 of the bottom of the tent was dry and the other half was wet.Another thing I noticed is you couldn't hear the tarp under the tent when people was moving around in the tent compared to store bought.Another bonus is even for the size I bought it still folded up in the bag it came in and was still smaller than a store bought tarp that is 1/2 the size of this tarp.If the company ever decides to make octagon shape tarps I will purchase one for my bigger tent because the tarp I purchase was suppose to be for my bigger tent and now it is going to be used on a small tent I have and I will go back to using the bulk tarp I was using for my bigger tent.

I purchased this to cover the top of my bike storage tent as an added layer of protection. The tarp is exceptionally made for the price, and so far appears to be fully waterproof with no leakage. Has held up to multiple heavy wind storms and is still in new condition other than minor rusting around the grommets (this is to be expected as it is very rainy and close to the ocean where I am located). Overall excellent product. Definitely recommend.

Durable, yet surprisingly compact and light for its footprint size. It's still heavier than tyvek for a groundsheet. A trade off for it's better durability and more waterproof. For backpacking I use tyvek. But this goes with me for everything else.

It is a tarp. I needed a tarp to tarp over something. As tarps go, this tarp is very good at tarping. Buying a large tarp will do an awesome job of tarping items that are less than the dimensions of the large tarp you are going to order. I ordered a large tarp for tarping large things and it works very well. If you would like to trap large items I highly recommend a large tarp. Tarping smaller items with a larger tarp will work out ok. Tarping larger items with the smallest tarp won't work out perfectly, I would recommend considering a smaller sized tarp for those smaller tarp projects. Not meant to be confusing, this large tarp does pack up into a small easy to stow drawstring tarp bag. It's a pretty small bag and it's light too. I use my large tarp to tarp my motorcycle when camping, my motorcycle wakes up nice and dry thanks to the large tarp being a great tarp. If you're looking for a great tarp experience, this tarp will deliver. I would buy this tarp again but I only need one tarp and it looks like this will last for a good while.

Was 2 inches narrower than stated! If not for that would have been perfect and a great value! Also it is very robust, yet lightweight enough to bring along just about anywhere!
