Picked up the TempPro hygrometer/thermometer to keep an eye on indoor conditions, and it’s been a great little tool so far. Setup was quick—paired to my phone without any issues, and the Bluetooth connection has been reliable. Once it’s connected, you can just check in anytime without having to walk over and look at a display. The readings seem accurate and update consistently. I’ve been using it to monitor room conditions (and it would work great in a greenhouse too), and it’s nice actually knowing what the temperature and humidity are instead of guessing. The app interface is straightforward and easy to read. Being able to track trends over time is a big plus—it helps you notice patterns instead of just seeing a single number. Size is compact, so it doesn’t get in the way or stand out. You can place it pretty much anywhere and forget about it. Only thing to keep in mind—since it’s Bluetooth, you’ll need to be within range to check real-time data unless you’re syncing regularly. Overall, simple, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Great for keeping your home, workspace, or greenhouse dialed in.

I bought this in February 2025 for my bedroom. I have a heat sensitivity issue, so wanted something where I could see the current bedroom temperature on my phone. This works great. It allows me to the adjust the temperature of my portable air conditioning unit. The app is very easy to use. I’ve had to replace the batteries twice I believe, so battery life is great. It also shows in the app how the battery life is. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a thermometer for house or garage, it’s great value for the cost. Also, I also have low vision, and the unit itself is easy for me to see. And I absolutely love the magnet on the back, I was able to stick it on my bedroom white board in the corner. And it’s easy to move to my sons room on the really hot days, as he doesn’t have an AC unit in his room, and it tells him if he needs to open his door with a simple glance.

We've had four of these instruments for over 6 months and just ordered two more. All meet or exceed our expectations and are functioning as specified. The single exception is that the Bluetooth range somewhat shorter than indicated but they're all performing within stated specifications. We have not had to replace any of the AAA batteries that were included. That in conflict with some previous reports of excessive battery consumption. The response to rapid changes in ambient temperature is slow, frequently taking 15 or 20 minutes to correctly report the new conditions. We find Graphs of temperature and humidity provided by the app to be quite useful. It's just a personal preference but we prefer this item to the newer and more expensive TP359 model.

I bought six of these devices to monitor my cigar humidors. Initially, all seemed to work as expected. The small size, common battery requirement, and Bluetooth connectivity were what I had sought; however, within weeks of being put into service, one by one, all began to malfunction. The displays would go blank, with loss of communication with the app. I switched out the seller-provided with fresh Duracell batteries, but performance remained unimproved. Removal and replacement of batteries would reset the units, but, within hours, again, they would malfunction. I understand that low-cost devices of poorly made component parts can’t be expected to function as might those of higher price/quality…but, six of six units defective? —————- The above review was submitted based on products purchased in July 2024. This addendum (Oct. 2024) has been added as follow-up. I contacted ThermoPro via email about a seeming production-scale issue with the TP350 Thermometer Hygrometer (see above), and received a timely reply from a customer relations representative. This person couldn’t have been more professional or helpful in facilitating a solution. Without a requirement to return the defective units, ThermoPro sent replacements for the six defective devices that I had purchased. These replacements have operated properly since receipt. This was great customer service. A company that stands behind its products is refreshing in an online retail environment that is rife with inferior products and ineffective customer services. I’ve modified my initial review from one-star to five-star and will again place orders with ThermoPro. Bravo ThermoPro!

Not that it really matters, but when I bought this item, it was branded as ThermoPro. Now it's TemPro. It's the same thermometer/hygrometer being sold now as when I bought it. I really like the orange color and brightness of the backlighting, but it only lights up when you touch the white frame. Of course, if it was always lit up the two AAA batteries would not last nearly as long. I put this in my garage because I like to be able to check from within the house, what temperature the garage is so I can decide whether or not I can comfortably work out there. I'm in Texas and the garage gets very hot in the summer. A nice touch is that it also reads humidity on the display and shows a calculated heat index on the app. After installing the ThermoPro app on my phone, connection via Bluetooth was easy. See my second photo for a screenshot of the app display. It shows the Temperature, the Humidity, the Heat Index and a graphic comfort scale so you can tell at a glance the relative comfort of the heat index by color. I didn't notice before purchasing this because I was looking at a dozen other brands, but this one has Humidity at the top of the display in slightly larger numbers than the Temperature, which is at the bottom. Looking at other brands just now, I see that maybe 80% of them have the Temperature at the top. I understand that humidity is very important to people using these in grow tents, but for my garage, temperature is more important, so I'd rather see Temperature at the top and Humidity at the bottom. Maybe it's nit-picky but, out of habit, when I glance at this I always notice the top number and think of Temperature first because my other digital thermometer is set up that way. So, I'm deducting a star for that. Otherwise, it does what it's meant to do and the app works well and shows the Temperature first! (see my middle photo).

I got this to help keep track of the temperature and humidity in my baby's room, and it's been really helpful. It's easy to set up, and I like being able to check everything from my phone without having to go into the room. The display is clear and easy to read, and the Bluetooth connection has worked well for me. It also keeps a history of the readings, which is nice for seeing how the room changes throughout the day. Overall, it's a simple, reliable monitor that gives me peace of mind knowing my baby's room is comfortable.

I bought this model June 2024. I loved being able to see what the temperature and humidity was in my greenhouse at any time. Mainly I was concerned about freezing temperatures so I could turn on my heater in time so my plants wouldn’t die. Unfortunately, yesterday the humidity finally got to my remote and corrupted the screen. The remote still registers on my phone, thankfully. So I checked when the temp out was in the low 40s and my greenhouse was 66 degrees! Without heat? And it’s raining and windy?so I brought it inside to check against the one in the house. Not even close. And, it has been 66 degrees no matter what temperature is outside or in. It hasn’t changed in a week. 37 out, 70 in. Still 66 degrees. This baby is toast. But while it worked it was fantastic.

A bit smaller than I expected, but they work great. I do wish the temperature was on top and the humidity was below it. Overall, a good product.

Had these since I bought them, one's currently in my basement. Readings line up closely with my dehumidifier's RH levels, give or take a few percent, so accuracy seems solid. Battery life has been no complaint so far. Backlight is a nice touch for checking readings in low light. Haven't tested the Bluetooth range or data export features yet, so can't comment there.

I bought this to keep an eye on the room where rest were most of my guitars. Perth is a bit ridiculous when it comes to humidity and we have bone dry summers and then we get wet Antarctic winters. I've been trying to get a clearer sense of the day-to-day swings so I can avoid my guitar is getting damaged or cracked. The screen on this unit is very bright and easy to read the set up to less than a minute and the Bluetooth app connection worked on the first try. The app gives you a chart of humidity and temperature overtime, which is very useful. I can immediately see when the room dries out and whether I need to bring in a humidifier. I checked this against another hygrometer that I own and they both measure within a couple of percent points so I think the accuracy is pretty good. For guitar storage, especially when you have expensive instruments, you really need to be careful about humidity and I've seen some tragic cases of snapped neck in dry conditions.
