Similar to a TWSBI piston filler. Not quite so well made but perfectly acceptable, and a steal at the price. I wish there was a medium or broad nib option, although these fine nibs are not super-fine, and at the low price it's worth risking tuning the nibs to make them a bit wetter. They are not scratchy and I've had no problems with skipping or dry starts. They hold a load of ink and I think they look pretty smart. Well worth a buy.

I highly recommend these pens for anyone starting to learn calligraphy. Buy with a box of ink and have fun . Actually changed the cartridge on these a few times without the inevitable mess and black fingers . Works better on smoother paper .

Bought these for my drawing course, nice smooth feel, easy to fill and very good value for money. Would recommend for drawing and writing. Fine nib.

Quite nice, providing you remember to store them upright, otherwise you will have an inky mess everywhere!

I use fountain pens almost daily and was excited by the reviews about this pen. Ordered and received, but the pens are poor quality and the construct makes it hard to fill, and impossible to fill reliably.Prefer TWSBI Lamy versions and am surprised this pen got so many great reviews…. Sending them back in a hurry!!

I've been using 2 of these 4 pens for about a week and so far so good. They are easy to fill, no leaks as of yet, although some spotting into cap. The nibs are medium/fine and are quite nice for both writing and drawing. Being able to see the ink colour is a real plus.

These pens are ok, they fill easily and write well however if, when they are full the mechanism at the end of the pen which draws up the ink get moved or accidentally turned the pen spews ink everywhere where. Either I’m missing something or this is a serious design flaw. My desk and note books not to mention my hands are now covered in inks of various colours. You get what you pay for cheap but not much use if the best thing they do is leak. Spend more and get fountain pens with a more secure ink mechanism.

I bought those pens after reading the good reviews. I don't usually leave reviews myself but this item has exceeded expectations and I'm usually quite fussy. The pens are such good quality and feel like an expensive item. I would have paid that price for a single pen, that's how good they are. I also love the built-in "piston" system that allows me to play with different ink colours and can have a good amount of ink, which can last for a decent amount of time: much better than cartridges (and better for environment too). I don't need more pens but working on an excuse to buy another pack of those 😂
