Perfect REPLACEMENT for attaching my hose to my Zodiac pool Cleaner system. Highly Recommend!!

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to install and direct replacement for the piece that broke on my pool vacuum.

I'm not a huge fan of my Zodiac pool sweep but you dance with you one you brought. So, when my coupler broke, I debated $10 for the cheapo direct connect or full price for this one. The key thing is that sweep gets stuck on branches, twigs, rando stuff in the pool... So, the question was, does this valved "flow regulator" really work? I initially thought no way, but I stuck my broken one on the hose, and just partially clogged the end to see. Sure enough, that stupid spring-actuated flapper valve really works and lets water into the hose bypassing the stuck sweeper. So, I paid full price. I know the sweep gets clogged, but I've never replaced drive-train components because of it, and I'm guessing this valve is the reason.

local pool store told me about 2 weeks. checked amazon had it in about 2 days.cleaner once again functions without having to dive into freezing water and re-attach the vac hose. the thing that baffles me however is the $40 price tag for such a small item. to replace the much larger top cover is a mere $26. so what gives?? either way, it fits like new, the cleaner is running, and all is peaceful in the pool.
