Acme D85T 5-1/2 Sq. Ft. Leather Chamois

Unlike the last several chamois I've purchased from big-box stores this one does not start shedding right away and is very good quality. Large and thick, it really soaks up the water and leaves no streaks or spots like most artificial ones do. I like it so much I now have (2) of them and both are great!I've seen one person complain that it stinks when wet. Well, that's just the tanning oils etc. and it's really not that bad. Actually, I like that smell and it will go away quickly with use anyhow.

Good chamois, but I think I might prefer the fake ones. I always thought the leather ones I used weren't big enough so I got a huge one, and it still doesn't absorb as much water I had hoped. It's clearly well made, not too thin like most cheap one. I just think I like being able to wring out the fake cotton one so much more completely. Overall it's a good product at a good price. I guess my only complaint would be convenience has spoiled me to quality.

We've used this chamois on a couple occasions now. It came out of the package exactly as expected based on the description, a full chamois that was soft and ready to be used. It was definitely an animal product, no fake chamois here. It sucked up water fantastically and I'm sure we'll be using it for quite a while. Didn't notice any hanging tab or anything like that, so I'm not sure what the description was referring to. It just looked like it was a chamois that came off of a goat or something that sized, not from a cow or anything that large. When we have to replace the other chamois we have, I'll be buying this one again.

We purchased this item because the Amazon search brought up 6.6 sq.ft. But when we later researched the invoice, the number had been corrected to 5.5 sq. ft. After cutting the chamois for convenient use, we can say that 5.5 sq.ft would be a stretch, but certainly not even close to how it is advertised.As a chamois, it is a very nice product.

I tried but had to go back to a synthetic chamois. I followed all of the instructions, including washing before first use, but this chamois just does not pick up enough water. No matter how hard I wrung it out once it was wet it was done picking up water.

Excellent quality and size is as described. I use it in my kayak to sop up water and clean the kayak after use. Not much else to say other than I've tried synthetic clothes for my use and this beats them all.

It does the job but when using it is so absorbent that it drags across the car.

it came on time, but the towel was thin with holes, not as good of quality as what I am used to, but it was also cheaper and it works.
