WORKS GREAT

My first time using it so have no baseline for comparison. I believe it's just xanthan gum as advertised, nothing special. Got it with Germall plus as i wanted to make aloevera gel at home. It turned out a mess. Guess I did not make it well. I have not used it since then.

The daily dosage is 500 mg. The effect was too strong and kicked in so fast that I couldn’t sleep, which was really hard. After taking it for a few days, my eyes became very yellow, so I looked into it more and found out how important it is to stick to the daily dosage. I’m leaving this here in case it might be helpful

I’m unsure what this powder is. Maybe it’s mixed/cut with something but it does not act like agar agar powder. It works as a thickening agent but does not form into a gelatin at room temperature. I attempted 3 times with different recipes/cooking temps and it never set, even in the fridge overnight. I bought a different brand and tried again and it set within an hour in the fridge. It also acted different when cooking. Both products say they are agar agar powder so it’s hard to believe both to be true when they act so different. Maybe use this as a thickening agent but I worry there may be something else in it since it’s not acting like normal agar agar powder so I threw mine out without consuming it.

Agar agar natural is great for candy making. What impressed me most was the reusable container instead of envelope packaging. I chose this product over others because I found envelope-style packaging often doesn’t seal properly and the product can dry out. The container keeps it fresh and is much more practical. Thank you!
