I bought this Mad Shark paring knife to supplement a new knife-block set, along with another knife or two from other brands for comparison. The Mad Shark knife swims circles around the other brands and wins in all categories. The handle has a nice balanced weight to it and feels good in your hand as you grip it, the cutting edge is razor sharp, and the blade itself is substantial and sturdy - you can see how it compares to the blade of a similar knife from another company … it blows it out of the water! Because it takes literally only 10 seconds, I’ve opted to hand wash this knife to extend its length of use. I’m so impressed with the quality of this knife that I’ll be adding others from this brand to my kitchen.

I’m a bartender and the pairing knives they have at my restaurant were terrible for cutting garnishes, I bought this and it cuts limes like butter! Love it!
