It’s mostly sunflower oil. It’s very heavy on hair and weighs it down.

I’ve only used this once so far, but I’m already really impressed with the results. I’ve been using hair oils on myself and my girls, particularly in the mornings on dry hair, as we all have thick, wavy hair that can get very knotted. The other oils I’ve tried have worked well for my girls, whose hair isn’t as dry or coarse as mine, but I wanted to try something a little more luxurious for us. I kept seeing Kérastase Elixir Ultime recommended, so I decided to give it a try. After just one use, my hair felt noticeably softer, smoother and more hydrated without feeling greasy or weighed down. It made brushing and managing my hair much easier. It’s also been really helpful for my daughter. Brushing out knots can sometimes be quite painful for her and she gets upset, but using a little oil has softened her hair and made the whole experience much easier and more comfortable. I ordered a smaller bottle to test it out but I already know I’ll be purchasing the bigger one when this runs out. I’m looking forward to continuing to use it and seeing how my hair responds over time.

Me encanta este aceite, deja el pelo muy suave, brillante y con un aspecto mucho más cuidado. No me lo engrasa ni me lo deja pesado si uso poca cantidad, y eso que tengo el pelo muy fino y graso. Además, huele genial y cunde muchísimo. Para mí merece la pena.

I love this oil, especially the fact it is used instead of a conditioner so halves hair washing time!! It works amazingly and smells lovely. More like dry oil so doesn’t cause any greasiness. I apply 1.5 pumps on wet hair and brush through and leave for 5 mins before drying. No greasiness at all. A very high quality oil, I’d never have dreamed of applying oil to my hair in the past as it has been known to get greasy quickly. However this oil along with the elixir shampoo I’m no longer needing to wash hair daily and now only twice a week. Everyone comments on how healthy and shiny my hair is and so so soft. Yes, it’s expensive but you use such a tiny amount at a time it lasts a very long time. My hair type is fine but lots of it and used to get oily but not anymore thanks to this wonderful product!! I won’t ever use anything else.
