I hate how much I love this stuff. Honestly, I bought this can of WD-40 Multipurpose Spray years ago, and every time I'm faced with a situation that demands it, I get angry because it just works. I wish it didn't. I wish I could fix things with grit and elbow grease alone, but no. Here is my begrudging 5-star review: The Bolt That Laughed: I had a deeply rusted hitch bolt on my truck that hadn't moved since 2005. I hammered, torched, and cursed it for an hour. Sprayed a ridiculous amount of WD-40, waited about 10 minutes (because I was too mad to wait less), and the thing turned with barely a grunt from my wrench. It's humiliating how effective it is as a penetrating oil. The Sticker Residue Shame: Every time I buy something new—a dish, a tool, a piece of glass—and that aggressive, clear sticker residue laughs at my fingernail, I have to go get the yellow and blue can. A small spritz and a wipe, and it's gone. It makes every other adhesive remover look like an expensive joke. Getting Gum Out of Carpet or Hair: a little squirt on the gum helps it slide right out of fibers or hair strands. Waterproofing Leather Boots/Shoes: Spraying it on leather shoes can help repel water and prevent moisture damage. Separating Stacked Plastic Buckets or Flower Pots: Spraying the rims before stacking them helps them slide apart easily later.

I bought this WD-40 Multipurpose Spray for Home Improvement, Frees jammed locks & Rust Parts,Adhesive remover,Grill & stove Cleaning,Protectant Agent -Multi use for Home,Work & DIY Purpose with high hopes of getting rid of my squeaky door & few cupboards. While it does work to some extent, it is nowhere near as effective as described in the product claims. The biggest disappointment was that the precision spray nozzle provided with the bottle does not fit at all, making it inconvenient to use. Additionally, the quantity feels far too less for the price charged — after just a few sprays, the bottle seems almost empty. It is only partially effective at best and does not offer the value or performance one would expect at this price point.
