Color Analysis Draping Kit, At Home Color Season Kit (Essential)

I was apprehensive about spending so much on this kit—seventy-some for a few swatches of fabric seemed pretty pricey. I looked into buying individual drapes and making my own, but didn’t know where to start, so I bit the bullet and bought this. IT’S WORTH THE MONEY. I would have never been able to properly categorize these shades, or know what to juxtapose to determine someone’s ideal colors. This system for determining your palette is both easy and sophisticated. I wish they split the seasons into the sub seasons (e.g., soft autumn, dark winter, light spring etc), instead they just split everyone who doesn’t fall neatly into a season into “bright neutral” or “soft neutral.” Thankfully I have enough knowledge to then pinpoint which sub-season that person is. This is a great starter kit. I printed more resources from the internet and laminated everything, and I’m looking forward to using this for years to come! Really fun party game. I haven’t tried washing any of the fabrics, so I don’t know if the colors will bleed in the wash. So we will see how durable it is. In the meantime, I’ll just try to keep it clean!

Good color analysis kit. Plenty of drapes and are labeled for ease of use. I’m certified in color analysis and just wanted the kit for the drapes. However the instructions on how to analyze yourself are clear and easy to understand. Would recommend.

We purchased 2 sets of the drapes for a work activity and we had such a great time with it. The drapes are good quality, well packaged and instructions were easy to follow. Everyone enjoyed the process and were so impressed and excited to learn their colour season as well as see the colour palette that suits them best. We have even decided to purchase a few more sets to have another round with a bigger group of attendees. Definitely recommend this kit. Shipping time was accurate but the only downside was Amazon holding a forced import fee deposit and we did not get taxed at customs and received no notification from Amazon. Upon checking, we were informed by Amazon refund will take 180 days which is 6 months of them holding our money. Unfortunately the seller has no control over this matter.

The reading colors and seasons kit has been a favorite at our gatherings—so much fun to do with friends and family! We’ve used it multiple times, and it always sparks great conversations and laughs. The materials are colorful, easy to follow, and very interactive. Plus, the price point is much better than paying for a professional reading, making it a fantastic value for the experience and quality. Highly recommend for a lively and affordable group activity!

This color analysis kit is so awesome. I purchased it as my mom’s Christmas gift after she spent so much time submitting different photos of herself to ChatGPT to try and find her colors. The kit is easy to use and is nicely labeled. We had so much fun each finding our colors. Great value for the cost! So much fun.

This is a great tool to help determine which color “season” you are. I had a little beauty party and used these to help women know which colors look best on them. The included instructions were super helpful as well.

I use this product during all of my color sessions now. As I work with a client to find their color season for makeup I can now take it a step deeper and add wardrobe colors too. No more looking at veins and flow charts to figure it out. It’s fun, interactive and my clients love it. Plus they can take home their paper we used to determine their season so they don’t forget. It’s a win win.

I wish my swatches were plastic wrapped as I’ve seen in other reviews. Mine were not and there was a critter inside. Gross! You also need to have some knowledge on color analysis. Otherwise, you might get misled with the initial warm vs cool testing drapes, because the comparisons are off. For example, they have you test a summer cocoa against a spring beach. These colors aren’t in the same ballpark. The better match is summer cocoa against autumn walnut. There are 6 tests for warm vs cool and they only got 2 right, so I adjusted mine. You need to keep depth and saturation similar, otherwise you won’t necessarily know if a color looks good because it’s simply more saturated and lively or is it because it’s warm or cool.
