Great die cut. I'm so excited to use it more!

This die is so unique as it cuts the cardstock background like the rain is falling everywhere except under the umbrella. This lends itself to the great sentiments about rain, friendship, and so on. It may take some perfect planning, and sone may find this a little difficult, hence my 4 star rating. I have several items from Lapoo, and I have confidence in ordering from this company.

Love the set- great for variety of cards

I was so excited about this die, envisioning all the unique cards I could make, but it proved to be a major disappointment. First impressions were good: the die feels sturdy and came as one solid piece, which I appreciated. I ran it through my Big Shot with some 65 lb textured cardstock, hoping for lovely window blinds. While the paper released from the die without a problem, extracting all those intricate cut-outs was impossible. The paper just kept tearing, and I eventually gave up in frustration. Undeterred, I tried a second time, cranking it through twice with a different 65 lb cardstock, this time plain. Again, roughly 60% of the cut released easily, but the same problematic section refused to cut cleanly and tore. For my final attempt, I grabbed a piece of cheap printer paper. Even after cranking it through twice, that stubborn section still wouldn't separate. I always consider the possibility of user error, especially when leaving unfavorable feedback. However, my Big Shot is functioning perfectly; I successfully cut two other dies in the same session, and the resistance felt appropriate when using this one. I'm confident this isn't due to any error on my part. This die appears to have a significant area (approximately 40%) that simply cannot cut through even the thinnest papers. PLEASE NOTE: At the last minute I decided to do an Exchange instead of a Return. The second Die, although slightly better, still had the same issue in the same area at the bottom of the blinds rather I used cardstock or simple printer paper. Exasperated, I decided to give up and just return it.
