Does the job effectively
Very effective and easy to use. It kills flies and mosquitoes and it does the job very well. The size is just right for the job, there's no odd smell after you use it and overall I would say very good value for money.

Older USB connector, otherwise works as expected
Some other review photos show this model has a USB-C connector, but the one we received, still has the older Micro-USB connector. It comes with the older USB-A to Micro-USB cables, so if all you have are USB-C chargers, you may need to keep this in mind before ordering.Other than this, it works well enough as you'd expect

Comfortable in the hand, well balanced and excellent quality
This Fly zapper is comfortable in the hand, well balanced and excellent quality. When I go for the swing, I can do so with a lot of speed with confidence that the Fly Zapper will stand up to the power I put in it (to kill a tiny little fly).I find these things such great fun and its a game changer that they are rechargeable and are always at the ready. Another excellent feature of this version is the inbuilt torch light to attract the flies to you and then BOOM - you get them.Battery life is extremely good, i've been using it a week and no need for a charge and suspect it will provide weeks or moths of use without another charge - when that time comes it just needs a few hours and it will be back to 100%.

Where have all the bugs gone..great zapper!
I had to do a second check on this it has two on button settings? Ah ha! …..ON1 is for just turning it on and if you look carefully , or put your glasses on as I had to 🥴ON2 has a light bulb symbol and the second setting turns on a bright light in the handle. So the little bugs can find their way to being zapped hahaha 🤣And no I am not being unkind. I have a light by my chair and the little beasties do find it attractive and then try to attack my eye glasses 🤓🤯The swatter looks like a tennis racket and is very easy to handle. The instructions do say that you must turn it off when not in use. Very sensible as I discovered when plugging in the USB cable if I had not moved the slider controller to off …… mmmm could have zapped myself! 😱It takes 4-6 hours to charge and then lasts 30 days on a single charge Wow! Looking forward to a pest free experience…..yeh! 👍

Perhaps the best way to catch flies that are flying
I love fly zappers as they provide a simple but very effective way of dealing with some types of fly i.e. ones that stay in the air in a room and fly in leisurely fashion around a location.A solid bat fails as the fly nips out of the way in time to avoid being caught but flies usually do not detect a netted surface heading towards them.Flies that sit on walls or ceilings are not easily dealt with using a zapper. As zapped flies can smoulder and give off unpleasant smoke I usually stop zapping as soon as a caught fly starts to smoulder and then tap the swatter to make the dead fly fall out (into a sink).Sometimes there is a very satisfying crack when a fly is zapped.I ordered this one to replace one which I've had for years and has become a little temperamental.

Very lightweight and easy to handle
I have a similar type product that I've had a few years and this is far far better. It is so much lighter to wield with a smaller handle making it easier to grip - so much so even my elderly mother found it far easier than the brute one I previously owned.Being rechargeable just makes life even easier with no batteries to worry about. When outside we found turning the light on actually attracted the pesky biters even more so it could sit there and let it work on its own.Seems to kill flies in the kitchen in <1 second - filling the air with the smell of burnt air.

It Works Well!
The media could not be loaded. Whilst this is a well made gadget, I’m unable to give it 5 stars as I own a similar one that has a rotating head, meaning it’s far easier to kill flies on flat surfaces such as walls and windows etc.You get the zapper and a USB to USB-C charging cable. Disappointingly, you don’t a stand or wall bracket.Flick the switch on the zapper to the ON1 position, and then push the button above it to send a charge of electric through the mesh. Push the switch to the ON2 position and a white light comes on to attract the flies. (This is obviously best suited to low light conditions) I don’t understand why it’s a white light though when all other electric fly zappers use a blue fluorescent light. Again, you need to push the button above the switch to send a charge of electric through the mesh. When you do zap a fly, it makes an unmistakeable snapping noise and fries the little pests instantly. It’s lightweight, easy to hold and use, and it’s effective at killing pesky insects. However, I prefer the rotating head version that comes with a stand.
