I recently moved into a renovated house that is 115 years old. A lot of things are not standard like a new house. My bedroom fireplace is only 11 inches wide where these birch logs are displayed. I am absolutely delighted with these logs. A very good look for a relatively low price and totally worth it.

I got these firewood logs for my daughter, because she has a fireplace. She was thrilled! The logs are a nice size, and the package isn't too heavy. The order came in the time frame specified, and the packaging was sturdy and not damaged. Also, there were no bugs in the wood.

The wood burned really quickly. I mix in smaller pieces log cabin style and can typically get a good three hour burn before I have to add wood. This. Not so much.

As much as I like a nice fire in the fireplace, I'm getting to the age where it's more trouble than it's worth. I do hate the look, though, of an empty fireplace and after experimenting with a basket of seasonally appropriate flowers, I knew that what I really wanted were white birch logs. I grew up in New York State and our yard was filled with white birch trees until the species was blighted decades ago. These very reasonably priced logs are the perfect substitute in my fireplace. They are of a diameter that makes the six that come with the order the perfect number to build a display on the fire grate and their bright color makes them easily visible through the fireplace glass doors. I could not be more satisfied.

perfect, all logs are similar. I know there is a stamp on the side but you can't see them and I have no intention of burning them.

Had been buying bundles of wood at the corner bodega, which are fine, but these birch logs catch fire faster, look nicer and aren't as smoky when they burn.
