Perfect Gift Smartwatch for Kids
Bought this smartwatch for my child and it’s been a great experience. The two-way calling works well and the SOS button gives extra peace of mind. Games are fun and age-appropriate, and the watch is easy to use. Nice color and comfortable to wear.

Difficult Setup, Difficult to Charge, Total Dud!
UPDATE: Although the watch worked pretty well for the less than 5 months that it was used, there were issues along the way and now it's a total dud. The first complaint is that it is difficult to charge at times. Not sure why it was so difficult, but it seemed to get worse over time. Even if the charger was properly placed on the watch, it would, often times, not charge and had to be removed and reattached multiple times before it would stay charging. Painful, but whatever, at least it would eventually charge and my son got to use it. However, as of two nights ago, it won't charge at all! So upset! We tried everything to get it to charge. It would flash for just a second to show it was charging and then stop. The battery ended up draining completely in the process and now it's just a toy watch that won't turn on and won't charge. I did clean the ports and make sure it's plugged in right, but nothing. Worst is that we still have funds on the watch. I'd buy another one, but why waste my money on something that will only work for a few short months and then die? Although a different complaint, I think it's worth noting two other very annoying qualities of the watch when it did function. The first is that for some reason, every morning at 6am it would make a very loud sound. We had no alarms on it and verified, no alarms, but without fail at 6am it would make that very loud sound and scare us awake. The other annoying thing is the fact that there is no volume control or a way to make it just vibrate. Yes, I had it off for him during school hours just in case, but there are sometimes other situations where we would need it to be silent such as the movies or church and that wasn't an option. I say, save your money and buy something better that will last. ------- I just finished setting up the phone and I will share my full experience because I think a lot needs to be clarified. First off, the plans are cheap, but they are a bit deceptive. The $6 a month plan says 150 text, 150 call minutes, and 150 data. However, it's actually 150 total to be used between all 3 not 150 each! Please be aware of this! I only discovered this after trying to verify if the $10 plan includes text since in one part of their page it says unlimited text and calls and on another where you actually order it it states 1000 call minutes and nothing about text. I learned that it's all split into texts, calls, and data. For this reason I opted to purchase a rollover plan (you need to click where it says smartwatch plans to see the other options like this one). It's not too bad because I chose the $30 plan that can be used in a 6 month period and it costs 4 cents a minutes/per text which is the same as the $6 a month plan except this one rolls over so you don't lose unused minutes. After I set this up, I added the contacts my son can use and my number in the SOS option. I added our wifi to it too. I will say it's a bit weird that in some settings like wifi you have the full alphabet listed to type from, but in others like adding a contact name, it goes to the old-school way of selecting a button for A-B-C, then another for D-E-F, and so on. A bit of a pain since it's so small and my small fingers still kept touching the wrong one, but I got it done. Then I started to look at options for setting up school mode or anything that can restrict the use of the watch during specified hours and I found nothing. I came back to the page and searched for how to do this and surprisingly found that the "school mode" setting has been completely removed from the description of the watch. I became very upset and found someone else wrote about the same, that they read that was an option and it wasn't. I left a very bad review because that was one of my main reasons for choosing this watch. I read the description fully, multiple times before finally deciding to buy the watch because I like to be certain about my purchases. Anyways, I had all but given up hope until I found another little piece of paper with letters that I could barely see which I'll describe in the next paragraph. So this other piece of paper has the tiniest ever screenshots that mention about registering your device via an app. I figured it's worth it to register it, but I couldn't see what the app name was since the screenshot was so tiny even with glasses. I had to play around with what it said until I found the matching app and, just so you don't have to strain your eyes like I did, the app is called "YQT Smart". Get the app! It turns out the app is the key to monitoring your child! To register you need to go to all the apps on the watch, open the QR Code one, and select "RegCode". Then on your phone, scan that code and finish registering the device. On the app you can actually also monitor your child's location which is wonderful in my opinion! Not a perfect signal, but close enough. According the app, my sons watch (which is currently here next to me) is at my next door neighbors house lol. Since I'm on the side of the house which is closest to them, I'd say it's close to accurate and enough to make me happy. You can also set the frequency in which it tracks their location. Being mindful that this will use up data, I set it to track manually. On the app you can also monitor watch usage, you can view text messages, remotely shutdown or restart the watch, disable functions, and more. I have to say my favorite is that I can set it to reject unknown calls so if someone calls and they are not one of the few contacts I added for him, they get rejected PLUS I get an alert about it! Also, from this app, yes, you can set "Do Not Disturb" times which is basically the school mode function I got upset about. So I can set it so he can't use the watch during school times. All in all, I am pretty happy with the watch. If the instructions had been clearer and the app information had been more readable, I would have given 5 stars. However, given the struggle I had with setup and to find this information, I deduct a star. I'll update later on if I find something doesn't work as well as expected. I hope you find this information helpful so you can stress less than I did.

Touchscreen smartwatch kids
The watch is very useful and very good. The only bad thing is the short-lived battery. My son recently accidentally damaged the watch's touch screen. Can someone help me if they know where they sell replacement parts? Thanks.

I don't know what happened here. I received the watch last night. Put it on charging in the morning - tried to start it after 4 hours of charging as mentioned in the manual but it won't start. Not sure if the watch is faulty or the charger. It came with 2 charging cables and I tried both. Has no way to get in touch with the seller so unfortunately returning it.
