This unit is fantastic. I had flies and little fruit flies driving us crazy. I purchased two of these units and the problem is completely gone. 10 out of 10.

Awesome set have one in that garage and in the house works great. Does a great job with the dual lamps in it and hits bugs hard. (Electrical zap loud)

UPDATE TO UPDATE: I reached out to the seller about the defective product, and they sent me a replacement right away, so I am restoring all but one star, because I do hope they will work on their quality control. Customer service was prompt and they resolved the issue, though. PRODUCT UPDATE: Less than 2 months after purchase, one of the units completely failed. Because it was just past 30 days, Amazon would not allow me to exchange the product. The one remaining unit is still working great, but there is no excuse for a product's shelflife to not exceed the two month mark! I am keeping two stars because the remaining one is still going strong. I will re-add the other stars if Gecko Man replaces the faulty product at no cost to me! Note that these have been indoors the entire time, as we have had an influx of mosquitoes during the rainy season. I got a 2 pack of these little death machines, one for the living room, and one for the master bath. The reviews are not kidding when they say these babies are LOUD when they get an unsuspecting customer, but I like it, because then I know they're working! Fantastic product, much more effective than the giant Raid brand one we have downstairs! Plus, they are cute. If you're on the fence, just buy them. These are a great product!

I'm only utilizing one of these at this point. When a bug hits it, I know. Its loud. I have it on Auto setting which is great. Turns on at night. Its helped reduce any flying bugs.

I can say these last around 3 years, and work without issue until they die. 2 ordered previously and they did a great job keeping the area clean of flying insects. They do put out a good amount of light so keep away from windows where you sleep, unless your weird and light does not effect your sleep. Best feature of Amazon is tracking previous orders so I could repurchase them again.

Has been very good at dispatching the fruit flies that become prevalent this time of year.

I am sorry to report that it really wasn't that effective. I purchased it to catch and eliminate fruit flies. I had to result to plan B & C , which were the sticky tape and the TERRO Fruit fly traps. Both being effective in eliminating my problem. If you look closely, you'll see the fruit flies stuck on the tape, and at the bottom of the fruit fly container.. After several weeks, I did unscrew the hybrid spectrum and met with negative results. No fruit flies.

Très efficace contre les moustiques, moucherons et mouches. Surtout la nuit. Il existe 2 modèles (avec et sans détecteur de luminosité). J'en ai acheté 2 de chaque. L'efficacité est redoutable la nuit et je conseil la version avec détecteur qui active la lampe uniquement la nuit (à condition que la maison soit lumineuse). J'habite dans une longère avec quelques pièces assez sombres, d'où mon besoin d'avoir les 2 modèles (modèle avec capteur quand positionné près d'une fenêtre). Je déconseille l'installation dans une chambre, car c'est assez bruyant quand une bestiole se fait électrocuter.

I bought this as it doesn't look cheap & black plastic like the majority of similar items & really glad I did as at least it's nice to look at considering it's going to be quite visible in my house. Quite large but again as it looks interesting so I don't mind. Bored of recharging so many products on the market & far prefer to just have it plugged in & operating when needed rather than forgetting & having to constanly recharge. Cable is long enough for my purposes. Makes one hell of a crack when it zaps the flies & initially it made me jump as it seemed to blast them into oblivion...or so I thought when I went to empty the tray after a couple of days... loads of flies & few were still limping about on their last legs. Except for the zapping moments it's completely quiet. Seems quite effective but as it's on my window sill it's not a great position until it gets darker. I also bought as it has 3 modes...on/off... always on.... or dawn til dusk. Also comes with a card so you can check if the UV is working.... impossible to work out otherwise. Oh & it comes with 2 different UV tubes so it has a broader UV spectrum which is supposed to catch a wider variety of flies.... obviousy I'm not a fly so I have no idea if that's the case.... catches all sorts of flies so far. Seems effective... a bit expensive but in my opinion worth the £10 more to get what seems to be a high quality product that looks good too.
