It covered my gray hair evenly, and the dark brown color came out super natural. Plus, it leaves my hair soft and shiny without drying it out, which I was worried about since it's a dye. I was so hesitant to purchase any hair dye. Really wanted to cover som grey on dark brown hair. The shampoo was easy to use. Five it a really good shake. Wear an old tshirt. Goes on dry hair. My hair is really long. Took a minute to get it all in the trots to tip. Be careful not to get it on your skin. Got some by my ear and forehead. Hard to come off skin. Washed right off hands though. It covers great and the color is nice. A little darker than I thought but it will be fine. So happy for $10.

I actually really like this product & how it performed. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the difficulty in seeing what the colors will look like. I absolutely did NOT intend to dye my hair red, which it turns out is not my color. So if you're considering buying the Chestnut Brown, please know that it has a very coppery cast to it. It's very hard to tell from the listing how the colors will turn out.All of that being said, it was easy to use, covered my grays really well & left my hair super shiny! So a good product, just not the right color for me.

ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PRODUCT, I’ve been recommending it to everyone. You use it like regular shampoo and it doesn’t stain anything except your hair I don’t know how it works but it does and it does a great job at it this is the easiest way to dye you hair and keep up with roots it’s saved me so much time, money, and mess!!!

I have been using this product now for several months and it has covered my gray perfectly. I ordered the dark brown because you do not want your roots to be lighter then the rest of your hair. It blended perfectly with my darker brown hair color and blends ever better over time but holds up well with a minimum of 3 washings a week. The time for me between root touch ups are longer than it states on the bottle and that was a win for me! No two-part mixing - just coloring and go. Be sure to wear gloves and always use on dry hair. After mulitple uses, it has not irritated my skin at all. This product saves me a lot of time - the processing time is half of what I was used to. The price makes it even better!

I have mixed feelings but mostly negative. It definitely worked, and was easy to use.But now my hair feels dry/rough and damaged and I was trying to avoid that since I have to dye my hair frequently. I wanted something for mainly just roots and was gentler than hair dye…I think using this stuff was worse than my hair dye itself. I have a feeling that if I were to use this again, my hair would literally probably just break off and fall out. It had a strong ammonia smell and caused slight burning. My scalp has been very itchy every day since using and I feel scabs in some areas. This stains everything and anything. Way worse than hair dye.Overall, I personally wouldn’t recommend this product.

I have a few greys along my edges.I put on rubber gloves to apply the shampoo about 10 minutes before I washed my hair, and when I blow dried my hair, NO GREY HAIRS visible! Not even one! The dye doesn’t come off on your clothes or bedding either, once your hair is thoroughly dried.I suggest putting on an old T-shirt and some gloves to apply, carefully apply it to the hair in small amounts and patches, to avoid dripping it on surfaces. Wipe up any drips immediately (especially on porcelain or marble). It doesn’t stain as badly as box dyes, but there can be a little staining if it gets on the sink or other areas (like rugs or shower curtains).
