Sensationnel Curls Kinksandco Half Wig-Rain Maker, 1B OFFBLACK

I first purchased this wig (Rainmaker) in 2020 when it was really popular - I loved it then and still love it to this day. It does appear to be a bit shinier than I remember and not as dense but still a great wig and if styled right, it looks very natural. Each time I wear this wig I receive compliments on my hairstyle/overall look! The volume is decently full; it’s not a super big curly wig but dense enough that it can be worn as an every day work wig (depending on your profession) and even to church or on a date. I just blow out my leave out on the cool setting, put a little moisturizing cream on my hair and then use flexi rods overnight to help my hair blend with the wig. Yes, the more you manipulate the wig you will experience shedding but it’s very, very minimal and doesn’t happen often. I did not smell an odor when I opened the wig. If you do, I’d just suggest unpacking it and hanging it outside on a mild, non-windy, non-rainy day for a few hours to air it out. It’s easy to put on, adjust and finger-style. I would not comb it with a comb or brush; using your fingers only to separate the curls should be good enough. For this wig to be synthetic hair, it’s a great wig that can last you some weeks if stored and cared for properly. Do NOT sleep with the wig on! I only wish they made this wig in M280 (black with a few strands of silver) to mimic my natural hair color. I will definitely purchase a few more for the fall time, as this will be one of my protective styles for the cooler seasons.

Trust me you’d want to buy this one! It’s beautiful and curly. I received so many compliments and it fits comfortably on my head. With little to no shedding and the density and thickness was perfect for my already thick hair because it actually gave scalp! I wore it for about a month but it’s hot in Louisiana so I had to give it a break because it did start to make me feel over heated.

EVERYONE THINKS ITS MY HAIR! Everytime ive worn this half wig i get a million compliments. From friends and strangers alike..and because my natural hair is fairly long they think it my real hair lol. The cons i have is that its NOT heat resistant and melted some when i was trying to curl my real hair to match. Also i wish it had more clips to stay secure. Nonetheless I will keep this style stocked

The curls on this wig are absolutely beautiful. Full and natural looking. However, it took some effort to blend with my natural hairline and get it sitting just right. Once styled properly though, it looks fantastic. If you’re comfortable styling wigs, you’ll probably love it.

This wig is beautiful and much more versatile than I anticipated. It is a very full wig but it is not heavy at all. It’s been two weeks and it has survived 100+ degree weather in Vegas and is still soft and manageable. I brush it in sections as needed and the curls continue to bounce back. I have a large head and honestly I could cut a bit out to make it a little smaller however the extra netting may help with the versatility. I leave a bit of my hair out in the front and it blends very well. The texture is similar to a 4b hair type blowout. I will definitely keep this in rotation. I usually wear it twisted back, up in a ponytail or side part. I’ll add more pics as I style it.

This was a disappointing purchase it is nothing like the picture it's neither full or has a kinky texture. For those of you who like volume this is not it. But it's cheap enough to see if it works for you.

Was worth the $25. The hair is very soft, the bob look is beyond cute. Gets tangled pretty fast, sheds a little.

This is one of my go-tos when I’m in between blessing. It blends with my natural hair and I can just throw on and go. It is not heat friendly. And once you separate the curls that’s it! lol other than that minimal shedding

If you have relaxed/permed hair and are looking for something to have your hair in as it transitions back to its natural state. Then this half wig is perfect. This is my first time writing anything this long on Amazon so you know I LOVED this wig. Pros - I’m the definition of low maintenance cause I can’t use a straightener properly. But this wig held up required pretty much nothing. I used it on and off from May to July. - I got the most compliments from women cause they all thought it was my hair. It blended perfectly and I never really had to use a straightener for my hair I leave out - When I followed the instructions for maintenance (verbatim) that come with it, the pictures of me holding it up is how it looked after washing and air drying it. I was worried I might have to order it again but nope it looks perfect the curls even still held up a bit. So I’ll definitely get more wears out of it. FYI - it will shed, just like natural hair sheds expect to see it everywhere but the shedding doesn’t impact its volume significantly. So I don’t consider it a con - it will tangle. It’s synthetic, but if you brush it with a paddle brush and comb carefully like you would your natural hair. It detangles fairly easily. - I wouldn’t recommend it for like a water heavy things such as swimming or sports that will require a lot of sweat. I never tried it cause I just figured it might not be the best. But I have worked out with it and I sweat a lot but it wasn’t too bad.

I love this wig

Yes, its synthetic but the quality is awful! I have used other Sensationnel products and they aren't like this at all. You'll literally only get a few days use out of it because it will matt like crazy, so its a pointless purchase.
