Very happy with the MotoFab 2.5inch leveling kit
Love the value, clear directions, quality parts(made in the U.S.A)!! and appearance of this kit. The black coating seemes to be holding up well and does not stick out like a sore thumb compared to the stock chevy frame and components. Keep in mind it is not a true 1:1 ratio(the actually hight of the leveling disk is not 2.5 inch)but the kit does give you a full 2.5inch lift in the front of the truck. This leveling kit allowed me to add a bigger tires- went from a stock 255 or 265/70R17 to an 285/70R17 (on a stock chevy 17inch rim) with no rub at all and plenty of clearance in all the right places. Truck is a 2016 silverado LT 4x4. With the right set of air tools and a 2nd set of hands the job moves right along, I would not recommend tackling this alone or without the correct tools, you will have a long day ahead of you if you do! Keep in mind you will need new sway bar links(don't try to salvage the original ones) and an alignment directly after installation. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone wanting a 2.5 inch leveling kit for a silverado. After installing this kit my self wouldn't waste my time with the 2inch kit, 2.5inch or no leveling kit at all. The rear end is stock,I did not add bigger spacers ,total level.

Perfect
I always read every review analytically and in-depth to determine if I am going to buy a product. I am writing this review for guys like me. I got the Motofab 2.5" lift for my 2011 Silverado. It arrived at my door in 3 days. The installation was very straightforward, and the instructions were decent (with the exception of a few typos, but you get the idea). I used this video to aid in the installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0mgfiTs0dw. The only procedure you have to do different than the video is bolt up the bottom of the strut to the lower control arm first, THEN push the strut into the strut bucket and get the studs to come through the holes (requires putting some a** into it). It tells you that in the instructions. I did not have to grind down my strut studs, they did not stick out past the surface of the leveling kit. I am moderately mechanically inclined, and have never messed with a Silverado front end before. It took me 1 hour on the first side going really slow, and the other side took 25 minutes. A little tip: when you are putting the ball joint back together, the rod might start spinning with your wrench/ratchet. I ratcheted the bolt onto the rod until the rod started spinning with the ratchet, and then hooked a pair of vice grips to the bottom of the rod where there is no threading, and held the rod in place while I used a wrench to tighten the rest of the way. Great product, it PERFECTLY LEVELED MY TRUCK. When I say perfect, I mean perfect. the front wheel wells and back wheel wells are the exact same distance from the ground.

Great value for great look
Leveled my truck exactly 2.5 inches! I have the rancho shocks and when you rotate your strut 180 to reinstall, it is a bit of a pain. I suggest using some small rods to line your holes back up in the lower control arms and taking one at a time out to reinstall your factory strut bolts before you tighten the top strut bolts (be careful as to not strip factory strut bolts when attempting to realign them with lower control arm). Other than that very simple install! Also, your upper control arms will be very close to your bump stops if you live in a bumpy area you may be cutting those off to restore some of your ride quality or replacement upper controls arms if you donโt want to cut your bump stops off.

Easy way to improve the look of your truck
I ithis lift on my 13 Silverado in the driveway. The quality of the product is great. 2.5" was tall enough to keep from having to cut the strut tower bolts which was important to me. If i knew this was only a weekend project I would have installed this 5 years ago. I rarely work on my vehicles so it took me about 3-4 hours to take everything apart and work it all back together. Putting the lift on the strut took 5 minutes. For the rest of the joints I hit my bolts with pb blaster for a couple days I a row prior to the tear down and it made things go smoothly. Make sure you have all sizes sockets and wrenches and use a jack to help line up the bottom bolts on the strut before tightening the top bolts.

Easy installation but it's best to have an extra hand ...
Easy installation but it's best to have an extra hand to assist you. Also I think it's one of the best leveling kit available out in the market for for it's price. Update: Well after driving several miles, I noticed that my stock 20x9 wheels were rubbing on the upper control arms. I also have an intermittent poping or clunking noise coming from the front strut's location while making full turns. I've gone back and double check everything to see if I had missed anything during the installation process. I re tighten all them bolts and I even applied lug tight to the spacers and upper strut's bolts. I even verified with the techs at the alignment shop where I had the alignment done and according to them that they did not find anything wrong or loose that would create such popping or clunking noise other than the wheels making noise due to them rubbing with upper control arms. As a result, I rarely drive my truck much since I am actually savings enough money so I can get an actual suspension lift kit and get rid of the un needed leveling kit issues. If anyone out there have or had experience the same issues that I have, please share your experience. Hopefully, there's an easy fix and remedies available. Thanks! Update (10/29/2021) after several years of driving with the said leveling kit on my truck, I can say that everything seems to be holding up quite well or better than what I expected. The said clunking noise disappeared right after I replaced my oem 20" wheels with a set of positive offset aftermarket ones. So far, I haven't encountered any suspensions problems or alignment issues. Now, I can truly say that Motofab makes great quality leveling kits or the best value for your money. I also think that I owe them 5 stars on my product rating.

The 2.5โ leveled my Tahoe a little too perfectly
Solid design and as easy to install as removing a strut. I do think Iโll add .75โ height in the rear to put a slight rake back in the stance. The 2.5โ lift in the front did perfectly level my Tahoe but this has caused a slight Cali lean (rear sag) with heavy acceleration and also if the cargo area is weighted down. I still give it 5 stars because it was my measuring that led me to order the 2.5โ rather than the 2โ so it was my fault and not the product or company. After installed I was able to fit Pro Comp A/t tires 315/65r17 or 33โx12.5x17 with a slight amount of trimming of the front portion of the fender well plastic. The first picture is the Tahoe completely stock height with 265/70r17 tires 2nd picture is after the Moto Fab 2.5โ installed with still the same tires. The last 2 pictures are with the 2.5โ in the front + new 33โ tires

Could be a lot easier than directions show
It's a nice front lift. Just pull shock coil overs and stick these on top. They will sit 180 degrees or flipped around. What they don't tell you is you will need a rear Block kit , 2 1/4" and take out your existing 1" block. Even if you measure 2 1/2 difference from back to front like mine and my buddies truck were. We both had to raise the back 1 1/4 inch. I went with ready lift but there pricey. It has slight rake and I sit higher than the 2" guys. Makes it 3/4 ton height which is what I was looking for in my 1500. It doesn't have any wording on them and don't follow the full page directions because you will be taking your whole front end apart. Take tire off, drop tie rod end nut. Drop coil over and slide out bottom through control arms( it will fit) might have to spin in while installing it back through. Moto fabs only fit one way and they will only fit one way in you shock tower when installing back on truck. You do not have to separate coil over spring. Throw directions away and follow this and you will have both sides done in a hr. Don't forget to get wheels aligned after.

Great product
If you want to raise the front of your truck and give it a nice stance without doing a whole fancy lift kit this is a great alternative. Once itโs in gives the whole truck a new look, looks so much nicer and aggressive in the front. Fairly easy to install, be prepared to fight getting the struts back in and being able to line the bottom strut bolts back up with the lower control arms, other than that itโs not terribly hard. Definitely would recommend!

Great kit, great customer service
Awesome kit. Would recommend a second person to be around when installing to set the upper ball joint back in position. My kit did come without hardware but the Moto fab team were awesome with their customer service!

Great lift.. looks and performs as was purchased
Ordering and delivery were seamless ... packaging and instructions were good ... easy install ... only thing I found that bolts supplied by Moto Fab were a little short .. wiring harness caps would not reinstall ... I think because bolts have to be full thread on spacer Thanks
