Normcore always means quality to me. This tamping station is no exception. The wood feels very high quality with no imprefections, and the organizer holds everything while remaining very beautiful in aesthetics. I love this station, it's one of the best I've tried.

This is a really solidly built tamping station. It includes 2 round silicone mats to use under your tools. The area for tamping is cut all the way through, to allow any loose grounds to accumulate on whatever is under the box rather than accumulate in the wooden box itself. Unfortunately for me, I have tile countertops (which I HATE), so I will likely use an easy to clean placemat under the tamping station to prevent espresso from accumulating in the countertop grout. There are areas for screens, a tamper and distribution tools. It is a well thought out design, with a small footprint. I wish that the wood was sealed. Espresso drips and espresso dust will likely stain the tamping station over time. We will be using cutting board oil/wax on our tamping station to provide some level of food-safe sealing of the wood.If your espresso maker does not have a 58mm portafilter, I would not suggest buying this item, your espresso tools will not fit properly or be stable.

This is a nice little camping station. It has all of the spaces you could need. I see a lot of people asking what the piece that sticks out. The top is four. This is for your distribution tool that is magnetic to stick to. That way I can kind of just hang there. Works great for me!

Kind of a disappointment. Normcore has wonderful, well thought out and well-designed products and packaging, but with this tamping station, I just feel it falls short. Where the portafilter goes to be tamped is not sturdy and stable and I don't want the metal just grinding on the wood all the time... The random hanger bar, I still haven't figured out what it's even for...they need to share better pictures in their listing.

This is awesome. The wood is so smooth and looks so nice! I’m able keep my coffee bar organized and it also gives me a spot to tamp my coffee. All of my little accessories fit great in this and it takes up a fairly small spot on the counter.

I got this to replace another tamping station I was using that was too large for the designated space. This tamping station filled that need really efficiently. It is well made, durable, and looks really nice. The light, natural wood color would blend in nicely with any décor, on any kitchen counter.The “hole” for the tamper does not have a bottom. Initially, I thought this might be a defect, but in thinking about it, it makes sense. It makes the cleanup of loose coffee grounds so much easier. You can simply clean the counter beneath it, or put a mat under it to keep it tidy. In my old tamping station, the well was deep under the portafilter, making the cleanup challenging.This tamping station provides nice spaces for the coffee grounds distributor, dosing funnel, espresso stirrer tool and the portafilter. It efficiently holds these tools, and provides a great space to encourage a nice workflow when making espresso.The one issue I have is there is a tool (shape similar to an Allen wrench) that should fit into a hole in the station. It does not fit at all, so I am leaving it off (third picture). I think a bigger issue with this tool is that I simply have no idea what it should be used for. Perhaps a stirrer?Aside from this little issue, I really like this tamping station. I am giving it 4 stars because of the odd tool (no documentation on what this part is) that doesn’t fit properly into the station.

This organizer has worked great to de-clutter the area around my espresso machine. I tried a tamping mat, and that worked alright, but this station works way better. I really like the built in spots to store your tamper, leveler, puck screens and even WDT/RDT tools. And there is a perfectly sized spot to put your portafilter while you prep your puck. Overall this tamping station feels very solid, and i have no doubt it will keep my coffee area organized for years to come. Highly recommend this tamping station.

This is a great espresso organizer and station, especially compared to many of the cheaper plastic ones. It looks classy and has a great finish. The slots are precisely machined and fit all Normcore accessories.
