Works for extra protein!
It’s thick and pasty. But it’s ancient grain so what do you expect? It’s good if you need a little extra protein in a pinch and all you have is water and a microwave. Tastes ok. I added it to regular oatmeal.

I’m sorry, but awful
This high protein oatmeal doesn’t even resemble oatmeal in any way. The very appearance of it in the bowl is unappetizing at best. I am old and I need extra protein but there’s no way I could eat that slop ( sorry but I believe in giving honest reviews). I overpaid in an effort to find other ways to get more protein. Please don’t get me wrong. This company also makes high protein chicken noodle soup packets. Although I wish the price wasn’t so high, I DO like it The taste is very good. It takes a bit of mixing but once it’s stirred well, it’s quite good. Just remember protein was added so it’s not identical to canned chicken noodle soup, but it’s good and full of protein.

Overall flavor is okay, is more of a gruel. Surely some will like it, or consume it for its properties or nutrients and nothing else. Found it--overall--unappetizing.

Best oatmeal for lo carb high protein
I have ordered protidiet on Amazon for years. Amazon has the best prices for this very tasty product. The oatmeal, pancakes, shakes, and soups are staple product for my lifestyle choice of low carb high protein diet. These products do not disappoint. I use less water then what the pkg calls for otherwise it can be to watery. I also add vegetables to my soups, and certain fruits to my oatmeal without going off track with my diet. I love this product for the taste and highly recommend all there products.
