Good quality Fan
Much quieter and more powerful than my old fan. Easy to assemble build quality is very good. Handy remote control instead of getting up to switching on and off. Only thing I don’t like illumination light on fan panel at night time too bright. I’m getting around to put some thing on to reduce that.

Works well
Bought this as a gift for my daughter, she loves it. A little tricky to hang, but it’s up and it’s powerful, slightly noisy at night but overall a good buy!

Fan runs backwards and oscillation is a myth!
A brief test showed it 'Powered up' so I hard wired it into the outlet in the bedroom. It replaced an old fan with worn bearings. Once the job was done, it didn't take long as Wago connectors are so cool. Once in place the external wiring checked out. I powered it up. It seemed OK for varying speeds but didn't oscillate on command (but the light came on!). I walked over to check the effectiveness of the airstream but felt nothing. I looked round for the Tik/Tok joker but found nothing. It turns out that somehow the fan is happy to run backwards with the oscillate function isolated. Because I've hard wired it I'm unable to return it and am £60 or so out of pocket. DON'T BUY.

Badly designed.
It seems like a nice fan, good airflow and very quiet, but a number of design faults.A/ the two screw hanger holes are directly behind the power and motor cables. This makes marking for drilling, never mind the actual screwing in place very difficult. This is compounded by the screw heads provided are slightly to large for these holes.B/ the screw securing the fan blade assembly is obscured by one of the blades itself. Making it very difficult to tighten without bending the aluminium blade, which would probably be fatal for the assembly as it would make it unbalanced.C/ a ghastly membrane type remote control. The buttons “bounce” switching it both on and off in one press. Plus, after a lifetime in the electronics industry, I’m pretty certain that the top membrane will delaminate from the remote within a year, and sooner if it gets wet or heated in direct sunlight.I’m seriously disappointed, after spending a lot more from a Far Eastern unit that seized after a year,( and now has magically disappeared off the Amazon listing and reappeared under another name -so no guarantee)So tired of shoddy products/designs. And this Senelux model got a 9.8/10 rating on the net. Who paid for that? 🙁

Great Fan but not epilepsy friendly!
I do love this fan. And it’s so good that my partner did a work around for me so I didn’t have to return it. He’s a good egg bless him. Anyway before I say the good stuff Il go into some of the problems I’ve had and explain why we’ve turned it into a arts and crafts project. At the base there are quite bright blue lights that don’t go off after you’ve selected mode and speed. They are very bright and when the blade passes infront of it it appears like it’s flashing. A big hazard for us epileptics. But even if it wash’s hazard it wouldn’t be great in a dark room. It would probably lights up the room and I’m guessing make the flashing more prominent. So my partner try to cover the lights. Sharpies wasn’t enough or even duct tape. And I really didn’t want to send it back as it’s so good. So we used my concert glasses/goggles. No lights is betting through those babies. But coz we’ve done that we’ve blocked the sensor Atleast for the most part. I have to hold the remote underneath and slightly to the side. don’t mind tho. My partner did have a nightmare putting it up as there were wires covering where you have to screw it to the wall. They are thick wires and not easily moveable. So overall there wa a lot of effin and Jeffin. Now for the good stuff. I love it m, believe it or not. I didn’t want to send it back. So glad the work around worked. As much as it was a hassle it’s worth it. The Oscillating speed is perfect. It doesn’t zoom by. It has a good wide spread coverage. It’s very strong and not overly noisy. It’s a nice white noise to go to sleep to. The cable is a fare size. The front grid is very easy to get off to clean. It’s not gonna be taking ages. Bish bash bosh and it’s done. So whilst it has some cons it has many pros and I’m glad I was able to keep hold. My partner is amazing. Happy shopping folks
