what is the best filter for long range terrestrial viewing for cutting trough hazy days?? yellow #8 or a good uv filter?

I don't use any filter and I can clearly see the start, planets and ISS when it is passing overhead.

What is the IPD (interpupilary eye distance) that these can be adjusted to?

It is a soft case with a fold over top. It is NOT a hard case as is usual for many Binoculars.Frank

What is the actual weight of these binoculars? Amazon says 3.95 lbs but Canon manual says 2.64 (same as 15x50).

I weighed the binoculars with the neck strap, 2 AA Batteries and 2 size 57 mm protective filters for the front lenses. I made several weights and came up weigh 2.66 pounds
