I've had several of these kits now and I am impressed at how they transform a static LEGO model. They do make a world of difference and makes a great conversation piece.I bought one previously for my BMW 1000RR and despite being a real fiddle to put on looks great and illuminates nearly all aspects of the bike. I mention this because this Yamaha kit falls a bit short in comparison and would be a bit better if it illuminated more of the mid section (engine) of the bike. A minor niggle because overall it works really well.Fitting was relatively straightforward and a lot less hassle than my BMW and a whole lot less tricky than the one I bought for my Lego X-wing.BTW I have had a couple of duff kits in the past with the little motherboard being faulty. The company, Locolee can't be faulted for their rapid replacement policy and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

i was a bit unsure with the price of the light kit, but im soooo glad i brought it now i have them installed, a little fiddly to install but so worth it in the end, they are very bright and vibrant and really bring the castle to life !! thank you

Several companies make Lighting Sets for Lego 21340 Tales of the Space Age, and I carefully reviewed each one. This is the ONLY kit that offers maximum lighting for each of the four models. It has clear instructions, and the finished result is spectacular!

Great effect, though the way the cables go through the bricks leaves gaps

I have built a few light sets and they look amazing. I got this for my sons set as it was the only one available at the time, never used this company before. Unfortunately the very first part is already disconnected and so useless. Maybe the other 7 bags work fine but we'll never know. The company provides a brochure saying loads of support, but they don't publish any contact details. Unfortunately we started making this over 30 days after purchase which is fair enough, but disappointing there is no support available. Maybe someone from the supplier will see this and get in contact and supply a new part. Happy to update the review if so, but my advice is stay clear.

Was a bit hesitant to buy this because of the reviews but this product is genuinely good to go!The lights all work perfectly, the sensitivity is great, the instructions are perfect and it looks amazing!

A good appearance, however you do have to be delicate as the wires are pushed into the connectors, one of ours was a bit lose so didn’t light up. Fortunately we were able to push it in with some tool it had and a magnifying glass. For the price I’d have liked it to be more robust. Looks good once we got it working.

Son, really enjoyed this lighting kit although it is easily broken if you aren’t general with it.
