Remote Controller Game sir T1D Remote Controller Joystick for DJI Tello Drone

Works with my Dji Tello drone. Love it

I was really doubtful this would work with my Samsung, but it did flawlessly. You can completely control the Tello from your phone, but this controller is so much easier to manipulate and use to make the Tello do flips. I had to first connect to the Tello before then being able to connect to the controller, but once I did, flawless operation. And the thing is solidly built. I had really low expectations for the quality of the build, but it's right on par with the quality of the Tello -- totally solid. Once I connected it, my 9 old boy took off with it and hasn't yet looked back. This thing is so easy to operate. Combined with the super cool Tello, it really completely outshines all the neighborhood <$200 drones.

Bought this remote for my Tello drone and it works perfectly. Trying to fly the drone with my phone is cumbersome and will not allow for accurate flight control. This remote pairs up quickly using the bluetooth connection. The price is right and it reminds me of an X-box controller. I am 59 years old and my sons taught me how to play (that's not what they call it) so I am familiar with the features. I highly recommend this remote for anyone looking for better control with the Tello.

This product works as described. I bought it for my Tello drone. Controlling it with the app on an Apple is ok, but I like the physical touch of the joysticks. It makes it a lot easier to know what your fingers are doing without having to look down to see if your thumbs are in the right spot. Plus you don't have to take your eyes off of the drone while flying. I marked it down 1 star because even though the construction materials are very good, I feel it could be lower in price.

As the product description states, this remote is only for use with the Ryze Tello drone. This does greatly enhance the use of the drone. I was worried about lag when using the remote, but to my surprise the drone reacts almost instantly to the remotes controls (same speed as if you are using the display on a phone or tablet). However, I have found that iOS devices seem to be more responsive than android devices when controlling the drone. It's not a big difference, but it is something worth noting.The remote physically fits well in the hand. Very similar to the feel of a PlayStation remote. The phone holder is retractable and tucks away nicely in the remote. It allows for a wide range of phone sizes, but I feel it works best with smaller phones as larger ones tend to throw off the balance of weight.The only complaint I have is when using the remote, the wifi range of the drone is reduced. I suspect it has something to do with the controllers Bluetooth frequency being the same as the drones wifi frequency. This can be remedied by using a portable wifi range extender.As far as connecting the remote to the phone, it's done through the Tello app. Don't try to connect it by any other means. Just turn on the remote, open the app on the phone, go to the settings menu, and select the controller. It's that easy.

Connects easy to the tello app but mine was much harder to connect to my phone than I expected. The controller feels good and seems to be good quality. Once I was finally able to connect it, it works very well. It controls the drone very well, it or something like it is a must have for the tello drone.

Works fine

I own a small DJI Tello drone and use my iPhone as a controller. I found the control a little difficult to master and the controls lacked some "luster". On the advise of a friend, I purchase the Game Sir T1D Remote Controller and I immediately noted a huge difference. Controlling the drone with the GameSir was an eye opener for me, it made it so much easier. Even my 5 year old grandson was able to use it with little difficulty. I you own a DJI Tello, the GameSir Controller is very well worth it!
