OMG PERFECT FIT!! I LOVE THE LENGTH AND SIZE. I'm a 16w and the x lrg fit perfect. not too big an not close to small...perfect! the color is beautiful so getting jewelry to layer with this. i gotta get other colors!

I'm ready for our Red Tent & Purple Moon Gathering! Love the maroon color, perfect for our celebration of the harvest! I'm 5'5", typically wear a 2X pants, so I ordered a 3X kaftan. Soft and roomy. Planning to buy the purple one too.

I'm not just plus-sized, I'm tall (5'9") and have resigned myself to wearing caftans that hit me a few inches above the ankle. This one is long enough, so shorter purchasers beware!.The fabric is lightweight but not opaque (I bought the maroon), true to the color on the webpage, and has a nice drape to it. It says hand wash but I ran it through the washer to remove any excess dye, on gentle/cold, in a large mesh lingerie bag and with a towel to balance the load. I did not put it in the dryer but hung it to dry. It came out fine, with minimal wrinkling.

The fabric is lovely. The black was jet black and perfect, and the workmanship was great.BUT....Rather than seam the sides with a traditional seam, and then trim the excess fabric away, this is a solid UNCUT width of fabric. In my 4X, there was 2.5 inches worth of extra fabric on the front, and 2.5 inches of fabric on the back --or 5 inches on each side, or 10 inches over all worth of excess bulk that I could have done without. Presumably, if I had ordered a 6X, there would only be one seam at the very edge.If you are a curvy gal, search the photos until you can find the dress in a light color and take a hard look at the way it is constructed--and then decide if you will be comfortable with the bat wing effect that all this extra fabric at the seams creates.All that extra fabric was not flattering on my figure and I am sending it back.Otherwise, it was lovely.

The color and fabric are okay but this item runs small, if you want it to be loose and flowy order at least 2 sizes up. I ordered this in navy for a pool cover up/nightgown to take on vacation but it's not as loose as I'd like so it will stay home. 3x is usually very loose on me so I ordered the 4x based on reviewers stating it runs small and the 4x fits more like a 2x. The navy is a nice color and the fabric is soft, don't know how it holds up to washing yet. It was not too long, I am 5'6"

Typically a 2X caftan fits me loosely (very loosely). This (March of 2020) would have fit a size 16 or 18 in the same manner. So extremely small. I can get INTO it but snug and not comfy at all. The color and fabric is nice although the fabric wrinkles easily (some rayon does not). I did not return this because of the virus issues but if you are ordering close to this time like I suggest ordering larger than you would normally. Anyone who shops Amazon clothes a lot understands that reviews outside the current time period often mean nothing :D. Good luck.

I liked the color. The material was adequate. There were a few dangling threads at the hem. I am 5' 2" tall, and the caftan was too long for me. So I gave it to my daughter who is 5' 6" tall. It was perfect for her. The seams on both sides of the caftan were about 2 inches wide. So my daughter had to take them out. She sewed the sides together which gave her an extra 4 inches. It fit perfectly. If the product had been shorter, I would have rated it 4.5 stars. I did not like the hanging threads at the hem. ALSO, the caftan is one long piece of material sewn at the sides with fringes at the edges. To modify the caftan to fit me would have cost too much. I chose to give it to my daughter. I will buy another caftan and make sure I check the length of the garment.

I love this- it’s cool and very comfy BUT the sleeves rip down the seam so easily -like tissue paper- and you end up with these giant arm holes to get caught on everything. I have bought several of these and I love them but this problem happens with every purchase. I wish they would reinforce the seams on the sleeve so they don’t rip so easily.Edit: I have had several of these and no matter who makes them they are thin and see-through. The sleeves rip like tissue paper. And they are way overpriced for what they are- paper thin, see-through material that’s barely seen together. Don’t waste your money. it’s too bad.

I returned this, but not because there were any faults. It's made of soft, lovely fabric and was so comfortable! But I could only get it in a size that turned out to be too large. Kudos to the makers for not skimping!! This would be very nice made in prints...I felt there was so much plain fabric that it would get marked in no time and any small marks would show very plainly, and also it's just a lot of fabric in the plain colour. Prints would be more flattering. Great caftan, bring on the prints!

Bought this for my mum and she really liked it. Nice and loose and flowy. The colour is a true maroon, not burgundy or brick. Right in between. Doesn't have pockets (bool) but otherwise a good dress for a modest person who has mobility issues or comfort as a priority. The fabric is a good medium weight - it hides bumps and imperfections, without having to wear many undergarments to smooth things. It's rayon, so it may very likely shrink, but that is often up, not in the width so much. Buy your regular size, or one up. I bought two and they both fit about the same, not too large. I'd recommend it as a good dress for plus sized.

Absolutely LOVE this! I thought it would be great for sundowner time after a long day at the beach (I am going on vacation in October) so I ordered it on Friday and it was in my mailbox on Monday!! Perfect summer vacation elegance or anytime! Absolutely beautiful quality, colour, everything! I ordered up a size as recommended in another review but will order many more to see if my customary size fits as well. 100% satisfaction with this gorgeous product in every way!! Because I’m just a little below average heigh, I checked to be sure that the length listed would not be to long for me using a measuring tape. It should have been fine. But when they arrived, the fringe on the bottom of the kaftans (I ordered two different colours) dragged on the ground. And of course with fringe trim, they can’t be hemmed! Definitely allow 4 or more centimetres more than the listed length.

Lots of room. Lovely material. Exactly as stated i have bought 4 different colors. If they came wider for a longer sleeve they would be perfect. But so far the best on amazon
