Once time is invested in working through the rules, this game is awesome for Minecraft fans young and old. One of the best aspects of the game is the cooperation required rather than competition - finally a game that does not result in mid-game fights or upset amongst the kids! Once I guided them through the first game our 7 year olds quickly picked it up and played without me! Whoever designed this should be awarded the Nobel peace prize!

This is a good game. You don’t have to have any Minecraft knowledge to understand or play the game. This was purchased for our son who plays the computer game but our daughter who is 2 years younger at 6 and has no Minecraft experience has enjoyed playing it as a family game. Simplified, you have to close a number of chests depending on the difficulty level you want. However MODs, bad guys in the game appear, for example at the end of each persons hand. Somewhere in MOD card stack is a game over card. Find the materials you need to close the chests by using your food wisely before you turn over the game over card. You have to work together, your turn affects the next persons turn, you each have to work together for the greater good.

The rules take a fair bit of reading to fully understand but once you’ve played it through it’s not hard at all. This is a great little cooperative game which fans of Minecraft will no doubt enjoy. Because it’s cooperative you all win or lose together which is useful if you need a game for when the kids are a bit tired. Crucially it’s not too boring to play as an adult and you don’t need to understand anything about Minecraft to be able to play it. As part of the set up you can choose your level of difficulty and the goals you are working towards which gives it plenty of replayability. The small size means it’s good to take on holiday and the actual table area you need to play it isn’t massive either so it could be played on a train without too much difficulty. Definitely worth it.

Seems like a great game but struggled to understand instructions on how to play. Item is exactly as described tho so if you are good at figuring out instructions for board games it shouldn't be an issue

Great to have a Minecraft-inspired game for kids to play offline. Keeps them busy for a while. Seems to involve strategy and is definitely enjoyed by two kids who are big Minecraft fans.

Great game, my kids love playing this as much as they love playing the Minecraft video game. Some of the game rules are a little bit complicated, but doesn't take too long to learn if you use AI or YouTube to summarise it all.

This is a great game to play with one to four people. It reminds you of the online game but without the screen time. It takes a little practice to get the rules and gameplay down but once you do this it is a quite fun game.

Ok, ammettiamolo: comprare un gioco da tavolo per bambini è come lanciare un dado a 20 facce. Il più delle volte finisce in urla, accuse di barare e almeno un pianto. Quando ho preso Ravensburger Minecraft Explorers, l'ho fatto con la speranza che la magia di Minecraft potesse, forse, placare gli animi. Ebbene, cari genitori e appassionati di cubi: ha funzionato. ANZI, HA FUNZIONATO ALLA GRANDE! Il punto di forza che merita da solo le 5 stelle è l'aspetto collaborativo. I miei figli ci giocano incessantemente (sì, hanno sostituito lo schermo con le carte, ringrazio il cielo!), e soprattutto collaborano per esplorare i biomi e trovare i materiali necessari. Non si rubano i diamanti, non si fanno i dispetti, è un momento di gioia per le mie orecchie. Il gioco è semplice da capire, e la sua dinamica di "scoperta" rende ogni partita stimolante per i più piccoli. Entrare nel mondo di Minecraft, ma seduti al tavolo, è un'ottima transizione. Come in tutte le storie d'amore lunghe, dopo molte, molte partite (e fidatevi, se lo adorano, le farete), il gioco mostra il suo limite. Quando si conoscono perfettamente le carte, i biomi e le strategie ottimali, l'elemento sorpresa si affievolisce. Ma attenzione: questo non è un difetto, è la conseguenza di un successo clamoroso! Quando un gioco viene giocato così tanto da diventare prevedibile, significa che il suo lavoro lo ha fatto benissimo. Ora è solo il momento di aspettare un'espansione, Ravensburger! In sintesi: Se i vostri figli amano Minecraft e, soprattutto, se volete un gioco che unisca la famiglia senza far volare le pedine, compratelo subito. È una vera e propria risorsa per la pace domestica.

Besides being an excellent game, we love that we can play it alone or with more players. It's also relatively easy to learn, while being fun for parents and older kids, too. Highly recommended.

It's a fun game. I enjoyed playing it with the kids. We enjoyed the collaborative element and I like that we can make it harder as we get better at it.

Nos gustó mucho… trabajo en equipo, toma de decisiones y estrategia!

O jogo chegou em perfeitas condições. É um jogo de cartas simples onde coletamos objetos para cumpriria objetivos e derrotar monstros. Bem fácil de aprender e jogar. Jogo familiar, e dá para jogar sozinho também. Vem o manual em várias línguas, inclusive o espanhol, mas não português. As cartas não têm nenhum texto. O manual em português pode ser encontrado facilmente na Internet.
