Portable Marshall mini-amp is a knockout!
This was a Father’s Day gift from my son and it blew me away! Totally didn’t expect the performance from a battery-operated device..but then again with Marshall stamped on it how bad could it be? Great buy even if for a novelty gift!

Cool little amp
I use it for noodling around on the couch. It's great for that.

Loud with the overdrive option but quiet when you try to play clean.
Overall it’s a pretty nice product. As mentioned if you’re trying to play clean it’s pretty quiet but if you use the overdrive option it gets MUCH louder. I’d say buy it if you’re a metal head and you’re into that kinda thing but if you’re trying to play clean with loud volume I’d look elsewhere

Great, portable amp
Had one of these a decade ago until it broke. Just recently picked up a new one and I still love it - a great amp to just attach to your belt and walk around with. I would like a little more sustain on the distortion, but hey, it's a pocket amp so I'm not complaining.

Lasted 1 week
This AMP in my opinion is a slap in the face to the Marshall brand. I did not have super high expectations for sound quality due to the size, but expected the sound to not be distorted as much as it was. But still not so bad that I couldn't play around in my room so not to bother my wife. Unfortunately, it only lasted 1 week until the jack stopped working. I attempted to play around and solder the jack and its connecting points, but no love. Just saying, Marshall has lost some respect for this one.

Sadly, Not As Good As the Original
I bought one of these well over 20 years ago. It was fun and sounded OK for what it was. Clip on my belt and walk around the house playing and having fun. But I assume the electronics have changed over the years because it lost what soul it had. Almost no clean and super quiet. The overdrive is OK at best but sounds more like a cheap fuzz pedal. The old one had more clean headroom and the is wasn’t so buzzy. Disappointed to say the least. For $20 more you could move up to an actual solid state amp and get way better tone. If you are desperate for a baby amp or want something that’s louder than playing your electric “unplugged” this will suffice. 2 stars and I gave an extra star for the look. But the are much better options for just a little more money. No longer recommended.
