A Floor Bed to accommodate my 12" thick mattress
We recently received the white queen-size floor bed and were able to assemble it in about an hour with two people. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I'll be sleeping in this bed with my 1-year-old, and the opening is on the right side, just as shown in the product photos. One thing to note is that the product title is misleading: **"Bellemave Queen Size Kids Montessori Floor Bed, Solid Wood Floor Bed Frame with High Fence and Door."** It sounds like the bed includes a door or gate, but it does not. It simply has an opening, exactly as pictured. I believe the title should say "opening" instead of "door." I noticed another reviewer mentioned this as well, but our bed was already on the way, so we decided to keep it. For reference, we have a queen-size mattress that's 12 inches thick. While researching floor beds that could accommodate a taller mattress, I felt this was one of the better options. The frame sits slightly off the floor. Since we live in sunny, humid Florida, I still plan to use a dehumidifier in the room. Overall, we think this bed offers good value for the price. I'll update my review if anything changes over time.

Very flimsy, not suitable for toddler
Very flimsy bed. My child's infant crib is made of stronger wood and feels more secure. Don't recommend this to any parent.

Love it!
My son loves his new bed. It feels very sturdy, beautiful wood color and perfect for littles. My son is 2 and gets in and out with ease. I wanted the taller sides so I never have to worry about him falling out of bed, have had it a few weeks now and so far so good!
