Inflates and Deflates SUP Board, easy to use.
Birthday present for wife. We tried this out in the driveway with SUPB. Much easier than using the hand pump which was almost as much exercise as actually using the board. The HR (Halkey-Roberts) valve on her paddle board (Ten Toes) is a bit wider than the cut out in the adapter at the end of the hose but was still able to get pressure to 15.5 just by holding the hose tight to the board. So far very happy with purchase though will try to find an adapter that fits the valve better on her board. Might just cut off the one on the hand pump but then that leaves the hand pump useless if ever needed. It took about 15 min to fill the board to 15.5 psi. Pressure was also verified on the hand pump gauge and both numbers agreed. Would recommend paying the extra $25 for this pump as opposed to their older pump which only inflates, though deflating isn't nearly the work load of inflating. The hose did get warm on the end near the pump but quickly cooled with just a little break in the action. Automatically kicked into 2nd stage and also stopped at the preset pressure. In only gave 4 stars because of needing to hold it to the board which is probably more of an issue with the valve in the board as opposed to the pump fitting. Update. With a bit of trying the adapter suddenly locked on. Didn't get anywhere with pumping the board until turned on the engine of the car and then shazam, worked like a charm. If you are trying with the just the ignition accessory setting, turn on the engine and if like us you'll find getting your SUP pumped to full pressure is quick and easy. Def would recommend! Updated to 5 stars

Worked Good for a While but now Hand Pump also required!
Update 2020: Its been a few years since I got this pump. It worked great initially, probably got 10 to 15 pumps out of this thing with 17.5 PSI. Now the pump can only get up to 15 psi and the motor is sputtering in high pressure mode. Not sure how much life it has left.. Not ideal as I was looking for a hands off solution to get my sup fully inflated. So now I back on the lookout for the perfect electric isup pump once again. And now the hand pump is also required again. 2018: I Use this to pump up my paddle board to 17.5 psi which ideal for my board. I bought this to replace another pump I had which had a terrible quality hose, and was no long usable for high pressure. This pump takes about 8-9 minutes to inflate and the hose attachment is solid. The deflate option is an added bonus. Now I no longer need to cart around the hand pump and this pump is more compact for travel. Good value and quality for 18psi pump!

BOMB!! DID NOT INFLATE PAST .5 PSI
I was really excited to order this pump and eagerly awaited its arrival. It arrived in excellent condition as far as we could tell. Packaging was good and it started right up the first time we tried to run it. It’s important to note that everything we order from Amazon gets to us AFTER the return window, but only because we live in Belize and it has to be shipped via a freight forwarding service AFTER Amazon ships it to that them. Add to that the fact the SUPs we intended to use it with arrived a month after the pump did and well, you get the picture. A return was not an option. Knowing I might risk eating a non-working product I went for it anyway; reviews were very good and it was just what we needed. When the SUPs arrived we immediately pulled out the pump, hooked it up and tried it. At first we were thinking “OK! No problem! It’s filling the SUP!” We had set the pump to 15 PSI so according to specs it was a good fit. When it hit .5 PSI it kind of hovered there for a minute. Then it actually slowly began LOSING pressure. We went back to the drawing board, reread the directions, and then also switched it to the second SUP just in case the trouble was with the SUP itself. Nope. It was the pump. Long story short, we have an expensive balloon blower. I plan to contact the seller but my hopes of help from them are not high.

Still performing well after nearly 4 years
I've been using this SUP pump for nearly four years, and I'm quite pleased overall. I've come to rely on it so much that, when we travel with our SUPs, we take the pump too. (Pro tip: If you plan to travel with the pump, wrap the power cord around it and then wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap or some other protective covering, as the plug on ours was once crushed in the process of airline baggage handling. I was able to replace it myself using YouTube.) I've never had an issue inflating two boards - one right after the other - to 15 and 18 psi, respectively. The pump is obnoxiously loud, but that appears to be common among these sorts of pumps. I have occasionally needed to apply some manual pressure with a hand or knee to the board for 10-20 seconds (as others have mentioned), in order to get the second stage of pumping to "kick in." Once you realize that's a "thing," it's not that big a deal. I would also like to praise Seamax's customer service. After nearly four years of use, I recently had an issue in which I noticed that I could no longer create a tight seal between my boards and the pump. After checking everything I could check on both boards and the pump, and trying multiple different gaskets (O-rings), I thought that I just needed to replace the O-ring with another of identical thickness, as perhaps the O-ring was old and failing. I couldn't find another of the correct thickness, so I emailed Seamax and they sent me a couple of O-rings of the thickness I wanted, without charge. I thought that was very nice. Anyway, it turned out I was wrong and there were actually some micro-cracks in the plastic piece that attaches the hose to the valve on the board. I suspect these cracks were more from repeated manhandling during travel than an actual defect in the pump's hose. For a few bucks, I replaced that piece and the hose now makes a perfect seal with the boards, again. This pump does what it's supposed to do, and it has lasted for almost four years and counting, so I am happy.

Awesome Product Definitely Recommend
Ok I had major problems with this because it didn’t come with instructions I was trying to use it for my SUP I’m a newbie I was using the lighter in the back of my car with the car off , it wouldn’t inflate properly the seamax would get hot really quickly. I thought I had a defective one and wrote to the company they responded very quickly with instructions and asked me to let them know how I made out and said if I couldn’t get it to work they would exchange it for another one. So 5 Stars for customer service. I followed the instructions using the lighter in the front of the car with the car running bam all set it inflated my SUP quickly and shut off automatically when it reached 15 psi

So much better than pumping manually
Works very well. It inflates my paddle board in a out 10 minutes. It has all the attachments needed to be compatible with various boards.

Huge Time Saver For Inflatable SUP's
My wife and I bought an Ancheer and Pathfinder inflatable SUP last year and loved them. Pumping them up to 15 PSI...not so much. This year we decided to invest in an SUP pump. This pump worked awesome and took less than 10 minutes to inflate them to 15 PSI. Having the 3 different connectors was a huge plus. We could never quite get them that fully inflated by hand, and it certainly takes a lot of time and wear and tear. The pump hooked up easily to the cigarette lighter/DC connector in our car and worked great. I noticed a big difference on the water that the board was "fully" inflated and not "close to fully inflated". Some people commented on issues with changeover from stage 1 to stage 2 during inflating - we noticed a little bit of a delay on the 1st board (nothing major), and the second board cranked right into 2nd gear easily. Can't speak to the longevity of them since we just got them - but initially, we love them - great purchase, easy to operate, and worth the money!

Quality build, great connectors... just not fast enough, and it overheats
I so wanted this to like this pump. Decided to spend the money on the "good one" thinking that I'd have no issues. The build of the unit is great. Super easy to use. The different washers for the SUP connector allow for a perfect fit. I was dismayed to find that it took at least 2x as long for this pump to inflate my SUP as compared to me sweating it out with the cheap, plastic floor pump that came with the boat. But I could almost bear that extra time... until the pump shut off (thermal over-load is my only guess) before my second SUP even reached 4 PSI. The hose right at the connection to the pump was hot to the touch after the first inflation, so when I disconnected (after reaching 15 PSI), I allowed the pump to just blow with no resistance to cool it off. Two minutes later, I began to pump the other boat, but that hose just got hotter (as did the pump, obviously) and it shut down well before getting to pressure. I finished up in a couple of minutes with the manual pump. Ambient temp was under 70 degrees. At sea level for this test. In the shade. Is this normal? Are others able to inflate multiple boards back-to-back? My whole plan for buying this pump was to save time and effort. Pumping even one board at elevation is tough for me. Two boards would just be too much, and it would be so much more enjoyable to effortlessly have them inflated next to the car. Well, turns out that using a cheap floor pump is still better than this. It took 17 minutes to inflate my first boat to 15 PSI (Pic included. Boat is 11 feet x 34 inches x 6 inches thick.). I work up a sweat, but I do it in half that time with the floor pump. Where oh where is that pump that works quickly and without over-heating?

Great device that works briliiantly.
Researched quite a few of these so I didnt have to use a flimsy hand pump any further to pump up my SUP. I bought this one for the deflation aspect also. I have used it a couple of times and it is a great product. Pumps it up in about 6 mins to 20psi before shutting off. Does it effortlessly via the car 12v jack. Very impressed and it is fairly quiet as well even when the second pump kicks in. The deflation side is fantastic as well as it allows all the air to be removed and roll it up and pack it away is so much easier. This pump is going to save me heaps of energy for the paddling. Super impressed with this product so far.

More freedom since you don't have to hold the hose. Just connect and leave to do other things.y
This is the best iSup out of three other products I've tried. It inflates and deflates as described. It stops when the pressure reaches the set level. The most important thing for me is that I can attach the pump to my two SUPs (Bestway Hydro Force), turn it on and leave, so that can take care of other things. Other pumps that failed my expectations: ◘ Coleman Company Sevylor 12V Air - doesn't hold the hose in place. I had to press the hose hard with both hands all 12 min to inflate one SUP. Imagine doing this surrounded by mosquitoes and black flies! On hot days the pump shuts down at 12-13 PSI. The pump doesn't stop when the desired pressure is reached, thanks it cannot pump to more than 15 PSI anyway. I can pump it faster with a hand pump with less rigmarole. ◘ NALANDA 20 PSI SUP Pump, Electric Air Pump Quick-Fill 12V Pump for Inflatable Tent, Kayaks, Water Sports Float. This one looks like Seamax but comes without set or air valves and fuse replacement. Air hose looks less sophisticated than one of Seamax. Manual consists of only a few pages vs. a little brochure from Seamax. Nalanda loses on details; these are small red flags. Since I don't want to stuck with a broken pump in the forest, I feel more comfortable paying $20 more to Seamax. ◘ Various SUP Valve Adapters for a car pump from Amazon, eBay, and MEC. They all don't work on my two SUPs. Although they are marketed as suitable for iSUPs, they don't inflate. Probably, they are designed for something else but not for SUPs. I bought about 4 of them as it looked so promising to use car pump instead of buying a dedicated SUP pump.

Panne
