Super comfy, seems to be helping with my pressure pain for my hips so far!

This mattress topper really helped my husband’s back aches. It fit well over our extra large queen size mattress. I noticed some other reviewers mentioned a smell. We didn’t notice any from ours.

We've used moderately firm mattresses for 20+ years with great results. We bought a new one 2-3 years ago which worked great until several months ago when it started giving me acute back pain with 10-15 minutes of lying on it, to the point that I couldn't sleep due to the pain. Moving to the sofa relieved the pain immediately. In order to preserve my marriage and not sleep on a sofa I decided to see if a mattress topper would alter the lay enough to relieve my pain. I'm happy to say that this topper solved my problem from day 1 and feels very nice to lay on. We let it expand and air for two days, but it really did not have any odor out of the box. My only issue now is that between my box spring, super tall mattress, and this topper, we almost need a step ladder to get into bed. I'm going to try to eliminate the box spring, add slats, and drop the mattress + topper directly on the slats or some other perforated platform.
